Deep Vein Thrombosis question
Hello everyone,
I was listening to NPR the other day and they were doing a program on Deep Vein Thrombosis awareness. Basically, it got me wondering if certain forms of PE, things like ADS or clamping could cause
Actual Deep Vein Thrombosis. Correct me if I am wrong, but DVT, the clots that can move to your lung or heart are different from the visible thrombosed veins that people sometimes get as a result
Of over-PEing right?
Basically, the reason I got concerned was that I use an ADS throughout the day. And according to what I’ve heard and read, DVT occurs in the legs from simply sitting or lying down for too long of a time.
If this is enough to cause it, surely using a device that ,however slightly, does impede blood flow to the penis could also pose a risk? No? This has gotten me sort of worried lately.
That is all,
Drew
