I agree. Chalk another one up to the “PE going mainstream” threads. Although the article downtalks on PE, at least it’s better than the other way around. Where PE would be common practice and those who have gone from <6” to 7+” will have to deal with all of this new competition that they would no longer need to have dealt with.

Doctors are, by nature, men of science. That means they do not deal with theories that have not been proved by scientific research. There hasn’t been to this date any scientific research dealing with PE, therefore doctors treat it, at best, as some sort of cult-ish stuff. For a doctor to recommend PE would be like a doctor recommending astrology.

Maybe one day PE will go public, but our human society will have to change a lot before this happens. Meanwhile, as WF said, we can enjoy our little secret :)

General practioners, maybe. Doctors in medicine and other field often use research to prove or disprove a theory. Hence the LHC.
