Does anyone else have this problem

Basically, I have large vein that starts at the base of my penis ON THE TOP. As it begins to extends towards the tip of my penis, it quickly wraps to the right side and then down below. Not sure if the actual location of the vein is relevant, but wanted to be thorough in my question.

The problem is that when I jelq with my left hand using an OK grip, my index finger puts a lot of pressure on it and it’s starting to get tender. With my right hand, the web part between my thumb and pointer finger protects it so there is no issue there.

Is it dangerous to rub a vein that large and close to the surface as intensely and frequently as required by the newbie program?

Can this cause thrombosis?

There’s a chance it is already thrombosed but you’ll have to wait for someone else to respond who knows better than me. A sensitive vein is not a good sign, though.

Recognize.

I’d just jelq with your left hand only if that’s the case. I have one on my right side and would always hurt in certain jelqing grips. I switched to overhand okay jelqing and didn’t have the problem anymore.

I do think it’s better to be cautious because obviously putting a lot of pressure on a vein isn’t going to be good for it, like you said a possible effect could be thrombosis.

Thrombosed veins are hard, tender, hot and the skin over them is red. You’d certainly know if you had this problem.

Veins can be pretty resilient, but if you think it’s becoming irritated then changing your grip might be the best thing to do.

Have you tired RB’s two-handed, fingertip method?

RB - Dry Jelq

I don’t think it’s thrombosis yet as it’s not hard at all.but it is tender.and it’s a huge vein. I guess ill stick with the hand that doesnt hurt it and try the 2 handed RB grip as well.

Thanks again for the responses!

You should consider it being a varicose vein mate. Probably a visit to the doctor’s cabinet would clear things up.

RE-RE-Started (21.03.2024): 5.5" BPEL, 4.5" MSEG

Current: 5.5" BPEL, 4.5" MSEG

Goal: 6.6" BPEL, 5.3" MSEG

I would not even worry about hard veins. My veins get hard on my arms all the time and they do not hurt at all, but the sensitivity does increase quite a bit. I do like to lightly stroke them sometimes as it feels good. :)

Veins on penis, like on every other part of the body can become distended. I have one also, going from the base of penis to near the glans, and it’s about 0,5-0,7 cm in diameter. I have it for almost two years, sometimes it’s more prominent, sometimes it barely can be seen, but beside it is visible, I have no other symptoms. So, basic approach is that if it doesn’t make any problems, like pain, discomfort, or ED it should not be considered as a problem.

You could got it it on several ways. It might have been thrombosed once, and then after healing stayed distended, or there was some infection which cause them to swell. Very probable cause of their distention may be vigorous sexual activity, or excessive and rough masterbation (constant finger pressure - thumb).

Mine is getting more prominent from jelqing, so I have decided to quit jelqing for some time and go for extenders and hanging.

Start 5,9" (15cm) NBPEL 5,1" (13cm) EG

1.11.2010. 6,3" (16cm) NBPEL 5,2" (13,2) EG

Goal: ~7" (18cm) NBPEL ~6" (15cm) EG

I am sure your talking about the dorsal vein, as the OP is also .

Some dicks are more vascular than others. That’s the bottom line.

Yes, it is dorsal vein. On some dicks it may be more prominent, than on others. Mine is not so vascular, there is just that one (dorsal) vein with two short branches at the end.

Just saw your pics. Well, you have it also, but mine is slightly wider, but shorter (vein, not dick :D ).

Arteries is more important then the dorsal vein.
Since the dorsal vein carries blood away from the penis .

The incoming Artery is much larger then the dorsal vein, it’s just to the right of it hidden under the skin.
When I have time I will mark it with a sharpie pen. :)
