Does this muscle growth problem work the same for our dicks?

I’m doing MMA for a few years now and learnt a lot about muscle growth. For me stretch marks, especially on the side of my belly, are pretty normal. Its caused by gaining and losing weight and muscle in a extreme fast way to prepare for fights.
Last night I was taking a shower after practice when this guy approached me for doing my ritual. I always apply coconut oil on the stretch marks because it helps a bit. Just like make up for women.
Now this guy is big in my country regarding MMA and he told me that if I applied that to certain areas of the body my muscle growth will not be optimal. He was talking about tissues and stuff and it reminded me of penis enlargement.
A few years back I wouldn’t believe this guy, no matter how important he is, but in the years I’ve learned that not everything has to be proven by science to actually work. I remember that my urologist told me growing your penis was impossible. And this guy went to medical school for 8 years.
Is this true and does this work the same for PE? After jelqing and manual stretching I apply coconut oil. In the time I was gaining length I didn’t do it but now I do. Should I avoid doing this or do you guys think this isn’t affecting my gains in any way?
