Donut Effect or puffiness rather hasn't gone away yet

I started this back in November maybe, couldn’t tell you. I use a Penimaster Pro and after 2 months in I got an LA Pump. Nothing really changed with the stretcher as I can’t fin a proper schedule on here that someone has verified works. After about 2 months into the pump there was one night where I noticed this “donut effect”. It went away over night from how it looked before BUT. It seems that the area (I’m circumcised) below the head where the skin is whiter (I’m white) seems puffy. It’s not pronounced like the night I had noticed it but when soft or flaccid I can notice the slight puffiness. I can’t remember if it has always been that way and if I’m just freaking out because I did get the donut effect one night.

I guess my questions is has anyone else ever experienced this? Nothing really hurts, it’s just a visual thing. I haven’t used the pump in maybe about 3 weeks although I’ve still done Penimaster Pro stretching intermittently.

Let me know your thoughts and experiences on this, it would be greatly appreciated. If a picture is needed I can try to upload one. If there are any questions needing to be asked to determine more specifics, feel free to ask

Side note: I am 36. Before PE I was 6.7” BPEL, there doesn’t seem to be a difference except for girth which seems to have gone up from 5.0 to 5.5”, but I’m not sure. Bad record keeping on my part.

My edema after pumping usually dissipates within four hours,However, my entire shaft area can remain partially engorged for up to 12 hours. Nothing unusual after 12 hours.

I could be wrong, but what I feel like I’m seeing is that once the donut effect initially happens (and from other threads I’ve read) it seems to come back very easily. I know the stretcher doesn’t cause this. I’m considering ditching the LA Pump for a HydroMax water pump as I’ve seen some people say that the water prevents the donut effect and is more effective overall. Can anyone here attest to that? As for the puffiness that remains, my plan is to take the few weeks I’ve laid off of it and use the time plus up until April to just let it rest, even if it doesn’t need it. Just to be safe.

If you read that someone recommends it, you didnt read it here. The majority here do not recommend the hydromax.

My experience with edema is similar to dtwarren’s- it is gone in a few hours. I do think that edema does come back easier once you get it, especially if you continue the same procedure without taking a break. Some guys will intentionally get it for the added girth for sex. I occasionally do it. I’ve learned how to get it a how to not get it.

Most people find that after getting it a few times that edema is no big deal, and as I have, learn how to manage it.

A long break as you indicated, in my opinion, will likely reduce or stop the “easy/quick” build up. I don’t understand why you have continued slight puffiness, but as you also said you dont remember if it was that way previously, I am inclined to think it was at least to some extent.

Actually I did read it here. There’s a lot to sift through, but it’s there. Seems like the water pump would be better because warm water is surrounding the penis while the pump happens, loosening the skin and tissue. But I don’t know for sure.

So I guess, what’s bad about the water pump compared to air pump? Interested in your take.

What are some methods that work that do not give you donut effect other than PeniMaster Pro or other stretchers? I know pumps and jelqing definitely do. BUT what about sex as well? For 3 or 4 hours? I do that frequently and I have to imagine sustaining an erection that varies between 100% and 60% over the 3 to 4 hour period has to add to it. But maybe not? Let me know. I’ll lay off of the sex if it impedes the break.

What do you think? And thanks for initially responding to me. This helps me understand better.
