Dry Jelq or Wet Jelq and hand positions

Hi,

I’ve just started PE, and I’ve got some questions on jelqing.

It looks like jelqing is the king of PE exercise, and this is a MUST for all those that like to enlarge their penis.

My penis is about 4” long only, and I have a problem with wet jelq, because :
1. It’s not long enough to have both hands working on my tool at the same time;
2. My skin will travel all the way up the glands and wrap over it.
-> This means that the next stroke will be bring more skin from the base up..

Another problem is that I find it difficult to use the standard OK grip, because my 3rd, 4Th, and last fingers (pinkie), will be taking up some portions of the penis, and I’d end up starting my jelq somewhere in the middle of my penis.

My solution is that I’d use DRY jelq (I’d apply some oil to ease the friction/dryness), with an overhand grip.

Questions:
1. Is this exercise sufficient?
- I see so many other variants, but as mentioned, my tool is so short that other exercises are rather difficult to perform.

2. How tightly must I wrap my forefinger and thumb around my penis during the jelq?
- My forefinger (2ND finger) aches because it is very difficult to wrap around my penis and jelq. It is rather thick.

I exclusively Dry Jelq, mostly because the mess and to avoid detection since I practice stealth PE.

- My first thought is that if you add oil, then you are no longer Dry Jelqing.
- I like the overhand grip as well: for me it is most effective but I change it up a lot using both hands and overhand, underhand. I think this is good for both your penis and your hands.
- Hand soreness: I don’t really have that problem with Jelqing. Really try to concentrate your grip on the sides rather than all around. At what level of erection are you attempting this? 40-60% would probably be best to begin with, working your way up to 60-80%. Also be sure you are gripping as close to the base as possible. I actually reach inside my fat pad to get my grip almost bone-pressed.

My goal in the grip is to fill the glans with as much blood as possible and then slowly push my grip towards the glans. You can also change up the direction of the pull, meaning that sometimes I pull down, sometimes up, sometimes straight out. Really concentrate on keeping the glans engorged. I kegel while regripping to keep as much blood as possible in my penis. If you’ve done it properly you should have a nice full flaccid hang afterwards. Sometimes it feels hot and heavy, which you’ll enjoy.

I prefer the dry jelq. It is more intense and I gain quicker that way.

For shorter penises however, I have heard the C grip works best.

I’m personally more comfortable with dry jelq. Mostly because I’m uncut. As far as the aches go, I have the same problem except it’s with my thumb. For some reason I’ve always had issues with that. I can’t even write with a pencil or pen for more than 20 minutes before it starts killing me.

Anyway, what I do is change hands and grips to help this. Every 20-30 Jelqs, I’ll change.

I like the dry jelqs. Been doing it my whole PE career. I do high intensity, high erection dry jelqing and it is great. The gains I have made are awesome. No mess, no fuss. After your done, just pull your pants up and continue with your life. No time wasted for cleaning :p

Thanks for all your comments. Yes, I do right, left, right, left, etc.. Sometimes, my jelqing hand is so tired, that I use the other hand to help push the blood up to the head, with the jelqing hand still gripping on.

Some questions:

1. What is stealth PE?
- Is it doing PE quietly? Well, I think most of us are rather quiet when we PE.

2. What do we do between sets?
- Usually, I do 15 reps each hand (set), and then I’d switch hands.
- The reason I switch hands is because my other hand is tired.
- However, I do not rest between sets.
- Is this correct?

3. I’d jelq when I’m about 60% erect.
- Anyways, how do you measure 60% erect, or 80%?
- The less erect my penis is, the easier it is for me to grip tight, and push blood up.

4. How do you jelq when you’re 90% or fully erected?
- My penis is so hard that my grip is redundant, regardless how hard I try to grip.
- And when I jelq, it’s impossible to push any more blood when I’m fully erect.

5. Frenulum hurts (and sometimes get torn):
- What’s a frenulum? It’s the thin “ligament” that connects the glans to the body of the penis on the underside of the penis.
- (Here’s the image :
- Sometimes it tears and bleeds a little.
- Is this normal?

Stealth PE means you are keeping your PE activities secret from your spouse/significant other/roommates/etc. If you live alone then it usually doesn’t matter, but PEing privately while living with others, especially a spouse, can be a real challenge.

I’ve never thought of Jelqing in sets. I just change grip as needed and keep on keeping on! Also, a lot of guys count their Jelqs: my approach is to go for time, usually 15-20 minutes. I just want to be sure I am Jelqing as well as I can during that period.

You can’t really measure it, it’s just an estimation. Some theorize that low erection Jelqing is best for length gains, and high erection jelqing is for girth gains. I can’t confirm that, but it makes sense.

I’ve always had high quality erections, but I can still get a result at 100%. A good strong grip focusing on the sides will still increase blood flow to my glans, which is how I measure Jelq quality. Be careful though: high erection quality Jelqing can cause injury. I used to do it that way, but I have been trying to keep it below 80%.

I have never bled while PEing, so I would guess that this is bad. It probably means you are doing something wrong. Don’t forget that a proper Jelq stroke stops before you get to the glans. Also, the frenulum is on the bottom and your Jelq grip should be focused on the sides (you don’t want to damage the Dorsal Nerve).

I’ve been trying to add in dry jelqs but I, too, have some problems. I have a circumcised penis and have trouble with tight skin. I go deep into the fat pad when I start but after 2-3 strokes, my fingers are near the middle of my penis. It doesn’t help that I’m not that big when I’m 50%~ erect. And it feels awkward and tight when I jelq. Like the glans area of my penis is getting squashed during dry jelqs. Any tips?

Stealth PE is basically doing PE as stealthily as possible. Trying not to get caught of letting people in the house know what you are up to.

I don’t know about jelqing “sets”. It is just a fixed number you want to obtain or certain time reached. If you do them by sets then just stop completely, give your hands a rest before restarting.

% is individual, based on ones own penis size. It is how close it is to your max erection. An 80% erection, for me, would be parallel to the ground a 1/2 inch shorter than my max. 0.1-0.2 less girth. I don’t know how to explain it. You just have to know. Feel out your dick.

It is pretty easy to jelq erect or near it. Just don’t do it as a newbie. IMO, the grip should be a lot tighter then compared to jelqing at a lower erection. This is because blood does not move as easily down the penis using the grip of say a 60% erection.
