Dry jelqing - WOW.

Marinera, what exactly are the dangers of the grip shown in the third photo? I just checked the photos for dry jelqs, and I believe the third grip is shown as a method to be used.

I have been dry jelqing now for some time and alternate with the different grips. It is felt here that a more intense jelq is gotten with the grip shown in the third photo.

Advise all of us here, please.
THANKS

Marinera, you mentioned ok grip is bad even in wet jelqs. I’m understanding that the idea is to work out the sides (the erectile tissue) without putting strain on the bottom of your penis where the urethra is or on the top where the dorsal veins are. Is that right? I started doing this anyway because it didn’t feel good stressing out my urethra.

The first thing us newer members usually do is look at the beginner’s routine which teaches people to use the ok grip (other threads do also). It would be nice to give a warning about the ok grip in those basic threads, but I also understand that it’s everyone’s own duty to inform themselves.

100% right. I’ll just add that the OK grip doesn’t leaves space for the blood to go, as a consequence the raise in internal pressure could be to high in a space of few millimeters creating too much strain on veins and the glans.

This helps thanks. When I start back up will try to work the sides more, see what kind of effect it has.

Started PE 6/14/13. BPEL 6.5", NBPEL 5.5", MSEG 4.75"

7/18/13 BPEL 6.75, NBPEL 5.75, MSEG 4.875

8/9/13 BPEL 7", NBPEL 6", MSEG 4.875

Oh wow! I’ve been doing the third photo all along now, and I haven’t injured myself.

So with an overhand grip, clamp the sides of the penis and leave the urethra location completely exposed ?

Don’t have the thumb stack ontop of the index, correct ? Can they atleast meet ?

Yea my hand hurts like hell doing the third one but the third one is what I’ve always done. I just fight through the hand pain and still making gains!

This has become a lifestyle for me

I have only been using the two finger method (overhand, thumb and pointer on the sides of the penis) and its been working great, at least as well as the OK grip. I have a mean, plump flaccid after 10 jelqs.

Dry jelq pro!

Schuler, where did you get the avatar photo you use? I would like to get a copy of it. Thanks

Thank you very much marinera. I’m doing a mix of the c grip and parallel grip that you showed and it’s working fantastically for me. My jelqing is going a lot smoother as my erection level is staying consistent and I am a lot fuller and hang lower for several hours after and I’m already seeing small gains from this, thank you man!

Glad it’s working for you.

Wow, thanks so much for the information, marinera. I definitely have been doing grip #3, and while no noticeable damage as occurred, you have probably saved me some pain in the future. It just feels weird to jelq on the sides, as I always thought it was “good” to push blood up the dorsal vein and the corpus spongiosum. Now I know to be only targeting the corpus cavernosum.

Very informative.

I understand now what this is about - jelq the CC only, don’t jelq the CS. Thank you!
