Duration and magnitude of newbie gains

Hi all-

Second post here, first elicited no response from the PE secret society, so I’m trying’ again!

OK, I’m curious about what the duration of the easy, so called “newbie”, gains we’re for the assembled practitioners. Additionally, I’d like to know the magnitude of those gains, BPEL and EG. I’m presuming that these gains we’re achieved using the newbie routine or some approximation thereof. If other, please specify.

I’ll start: gained like gangbusters for the first 4 months doing ~15 minutes of jelqing in the hot tub, using a homemade stretcher for ~ 2 x 30 min. During the drive to/from school and using a homemade golf weight type ADS during the school day. I basically did this every day. During that 4 months I gained 1 inch in length and 0.5 inch in girth, with a fairly consistent distribution of gains through that time period.

The Christmas break effectively terminated my “newbie” gains when I necessarily stopped all PE for 1 month while visiting families (maybe jelqed for a total of 30 minutes over that month). I wonder if my very satisfying growth rate could have continued if it we’re not interrupted. Regardless, I’m delving into hanging now and so far (2 weeks), so good (BPFSL up 1/8 inch, haven’t measured EL).

Oops, forgot something. I did Horse 440s after hot tub jelquing everyday as well, for about 15 minutes usually.

Sorry to hear your first post didn’t get any response. Don’t let it discourage you — that just happens sometimes (though we’re trying to correct this) in the Newbie forum.

I don’t have much of a “newbie gains” story to contribute, but I wanted to say that you should be happy about the 1-month PE interruption. Most guys find that a “deconditioning” period of rest really helps to enable further gains when they get back into the game.

Mine tapered. 1/2” first month, 1/4” the second, 1/8” the third. Girth gains followed a similar pattern. Then the real work began.

Hey thanks PG. I hope you’re right about the month off being a blessing for my PE purposes. My dick seemed really reluctant to gaining upon re-initiating PE after that month (not flexible, very tough). I felt that my dick was serving notice that the days of simply pulling out more dick we’re over. I’ve ventured down hangers road in response. I’m optimistic that further gains will be forthcoming.

I hope others will share how they we’re served notice that the easy gains we’re over, and how much they we’re able to pull out their dicks before the gig was up! Any way that we can illuminate ways to keep newbie gains going for fellas will certainly be a valued contribution to the forum.

Did you have to change the type of training you did after the third month or just work harder/longer at the training routine that got you your initial gains? I’m wondering what the “real work” consisted of.

I think you’ve done extremely well gaining an inch in 4 months. Your routine sounds very similar to mine and its taken me a full year to gain half of what you have. I never seemed to get any “newbie” gains - it just seemed very, very gradual. I just hope it keeps going, even if it is slow.

I feel very grateful for the gains that I made right out of the blocks. It still kind of blows my mind when I see where my dick is now. I’m not sure what the causitive factors we’re for my easy early gains, but I wouldn’t be surprised if 20 years of catholic guilt which kept me from touching my penis resulted in a large “reserve” of penis to pull out once I discovered PE and decided to really touch my penis!

Sorry to hear your first post went by unnoticed. Sometimes us old folks don’t see all these posts so well. I am trying to make it a point to come to this forum first so that this doesn’t happen anymore.

I would say my gains paralleled yours when I first started. I think I got about an inch in the first few months and a little girth, but not much because way back in late 2000, I was doing a paysite and they had no idea what they were doing, nor did I.

You might also want to consider that most “newbie” gains are from ligament stretching. Those tend to deform more than the tunica and give you quick gains. So you should really read Bib’s LOT theory in the articles forum and figure out whether you need to pull up or down. Trust me, it will save you A LOT of time and effort.

I do trust you. I’ve noted and benefited from the excellent advice that you’ve shared on the forum, thank you.

As I noticed that my efforts we’re working, I really started studying the threads here in a big way. Over the last 5 months I think I’ve read every post that Bigger has on this site. I kid you not, I’ve tried to find ones that I haven’t read before and I can’t find ‘em! I’ve e-mailed Bigger about half a dozen times since getting my BIB about 2 weeks ago and have gained even more insight into the PE practice as a result. He is a gem of a guy as I’m sure you and the rest of the vets know.

While I don’t ever want to underestimate my ignorance, I do feel well equipped to engage my penis in the pursuit of making it bigger.

This forum is the best. I hope to make positive contributions since becoming converted!

I started with a very minimal routine, done only sporadically. See my progress thread. After the first few months it doesn’t describe my PE efforts well at all. I should have used it as a mini-journal with at least monthly updates. Maybe someone seeing this will take note and take better advantage of the Progress Reports forum.

To answer your question, after a long, frustrating plateau I switched gears and started hanging seriously. Hanging, despite some problems and setbacks, has done more to increase my length after my newbie gains than anything else I’ve tried.

Lately I’ve been in a slump. This is the first time I haven’t gained anything after putting in a decent amount of time hanging. Hmm. Maybe this is a new phase of PE for me.

I think initial “easy gain” potential isn’t particularly time dependent, at least not in the sense that you have x days to rapidly gain size and then the window closes. Some of us gain quickly at first; others don’t. IMO, any simple, sensible routine, as long as you don’t overdo it, will eventually express whatever easy initial potential you may have. Beyond that, PE turns into a lot of work. You’ll have to focus. If you want length, hang properly (meaning with stress applied to the internal structures, not merely applied to the skin). For girth, damned if I know, and I’ve tried a lot of things.

It sure sounds as though I am following a path that others have been down. I am attempting to break through this post-newbie gains plateau by hanging with a BIB. I’m very impressed with it and with Bigger and am optimistic that gains will ocurr. I trust that as long as I stay positive and determined that further gains will ocurr. I think this forum is a tremendous tool for maintaining both of those.

I’ll check your progress thread (and others’).

Catholic guilt - that’s fantastic :D

I’ve gained approx. .75” in length and .3-.4 in girth in 4 months. I do notice it slowing a tad but I’ve still been fairly consistent over the last month. I’m kinda scared to actually take any type of extended break!! But when the gains stop, I will.

I don’t know how you rigged your hanging equipment, but if you crash you may contract what is known as “dicklash” (sudden involuntary elongation).

Worse yet, you might find yourself explaining to the paramedics that “I saw it go through the window, I think its over in the ditch 50 yards ahead”…

I wasn’t hanging during the drive to/from school, rather I was stretching with a homemade stretcher. At least in a crash, I know that my dick is strapped to my body.hehe. Just kidding, I don’t do that anymore, it did seem a bit like russian roulette.
