Effects of Tobacco and Alcohol

Hi Everyone, I was wondering if consuming alcohol in modest quantities and having the occasional smoke was at all damaging for PE?

Alcohol in strict moderation is no problem for setting you back . But since smoking is known to be harmful. Why not just give it up entirely. You’ll be much fitter.

I have a few drinks of alcohol once per 2 weeks. And smoke quite a bit. :( I’m not proud of it and want to quit soon. My point is though that I have made all my gains so far while being a smoker. I do alot of other healthy stuff though that maybe counter balances it. Cardio interval training 3-5 times a week. Weights 2-3 times a week. Eat very healthily as well. Lots of protein, very little white carbs (rice, bread, potato), lots of veges, wholegrains, fruit etc. Zinc and fish oil suppliments. Protein shakes and also peanut butter (for argintine). In the last 4 months I’ve gone from 70-75 bpm resting heart rate to 50-55. So maybe smoking would have more of an impact on erection quality, if I didn’t do these other things.

It obviously doesn’t help, but maybe it’s about your lifestyle more as a whole rather then if you smoke or drink or not. Also sleep is very important, try to get 8 hours a night.
