Extenders-cause cancerr?

Question- We all know cancer is caused by uncontrollable cell growth. If using an extender forces such cell growth and splitting, wouldn’t that make such a device dangerous? -Guess no one ever brought this up.

Only if there is cancer present. Cancer is the reproduction of “rogue” cells that only grow and feed off sugar. That’s a bare bones version to try and give clarity.

Tissue expanders have been used in the medical world for years perfectly safely, no it wont cause cancer.

The growth is not cellular mutation. Cancer is not a ‘thing’ here. Nor is it really uncontrolled. Some might wish it were (foolishly), but it is as a result of a bodily mechanism and not aberration.

I did bring this up…a few months ago couldn’t get a straight answer.

All PE is basically causing cell growth, no matter the exercise, that’s part of growing. Cell growth and splitting happens at many stages in a persons life. There is healthy cell growth and then unhealthy (such as cancer, I suppose). I can’t see PE causing a type of cancer, except if someone is experimenting with different types of substances that could lead to cancer in the future possibly. PE is still fairly new in terms of medical studies and no data can say it causes cancer.. so take it for what it’s worth. It seems everything has been deemed too cause cancer these days.. possible scare tactics? Who knows.
