Find Posts by User?
Could a mod please move this to the Main Member Forum, or somewhere else it might belong if it doesn't belong here? I've got over 100 posts and still cant post in Main Members Forum for some reason…
To all Thunders Mods/admins/you guys who know the inner workings of the site,
I was paroozing about the forums just now (yes, paroozing), and came across a guy with a great PE success story. I wanted to learn more about this dude - namely to see how he ‘ended up’ before he stopped posting on these forums (this success story I speak of was from like 2004). So I basically wanted to see a list of all his posts in chronological order. I figured the ‘find posts by user’ option under the advanced search tab would help. Unfortunately, after typing in his username, all that comes up are lists of threads that he’s posted in - but no way to view his actual post (some of these threads were 10s and 10s of pages long, and it would be painstaking to seek out his individual post). Another huge drawback was that I could not see the dates of his last posts, so my goal of seeing how long he remained at Thunders could not easily be found.
I was wondering, is what I’m trying to accomplish possible on these forums? Am I just doing it wrong? Or are posts not listed plainly to assure more privacy to each member? Not sure if this is something that has been looked over or just a stupid mistake I’m making.
If anyone could enlighten me as to a solution or workaround, it would be greatly appreciated.
