For the Newbies: Extenders - Questions thread

I have also just started wearing an extender, for around a month and a week now - with a noose system.

I’ve been spending ten minutes or so on occasional days “massaging” my shaft with the extender on, in front of an IR lamp, and although perhaps it is just my unit, i have been moving up in rods pretty quickly, to the point where i’m already a cm or so beyond my BPEL.

I think i can accredit alot of this to the heat, but i feel “massaging” has definately helped me ‘loosen up’ the ol’ shaft. :)

As a side note, this really is turning me into much more of a ‘shower’, than a grower. Even if my BPEL hasn’t increased yet, i’d say the flaccid gain makes up for it (he says, only one and a 1/4 month in). It’s a good feeling.

- As has been mentioned by Marinera before, i can also attest to my glans adapting to the noose system. The first week or two were hell, massaging every hour, but now the edges of my head have - literally - flared outwards, creating a much more pronounced groove. This is rather aesthetic, and is another point why i’m already happy with an extender! To someone who has gained nothing manually in a few years, this is looking promising, but we’ll see…

So I have been using SG extender for a month, pretty much been wearing this thing between 8-12 hours a day since I got it (except the comfort strap broke so it took 8 days to receive a new one [no idea where the noose is-but that thing looks treachorous anyways]).

I felt like this was the next step after the newbie routine, and guys who are thinking of purchasing an extender:

Judging by my pain level the first few days wearing this, you have high potential for injury. Work that newbie routine.
As for showing bulge inside of your pants, stretched out from the base of the device to the tip of my unit is 7 inches (typically pointed down either pantleg), and in relatively snug jeans you can not tell (it does hurt to walk normal though-just a part of life by now). I work in a factory, fairly demanding labor. My day often requires me to bend over, crouch, and kneel-I rarely experience any complications with the extender. Extenders come with springs inside of them so it doesn’t just lockdown, the thing walks with you.

Judging by my pain level the first few days compared to now, I am very grateful that I toughed it out. I wore this thing until i was pacing around my room, tapping my feet, anything to take my mind off of it. It is going to hurt, use sound judgement to avoid injury but there is a level of suck-it-up you will have to incorporate with a device like this.

Now for the gents more experienced than I:

Constant Tension all day? Sometimes I like to vary the tension through out the day, especially at night when I increase the tension the most during my last hour or so.


Reject the basic assumptions of civilizations, especially the importance of material possessions.

does anyone know? Should I keep it at a single tension and gradually increase or give myself kind of a change up routine varying the tension/time in equipment?

Another question is my fsl is seemingly shorter in the morning, it goes back after first extend of the day. Any thoughts on this?
