I just did a test with my new luggage scale. I did some manual stretches with the reverse OK grip then did my best to replicate the feel of that amount of stretch with my hangar and scale. I estimate a manual pull strong enough to lose your grip is about 5 or 6 pounds. I’m sure some of you have really strong hands, maybe you could pull more. Some a little less. I’d say my grip is probably average.

That’s about what you’re doing anyway, by my best guess. So when the time comes you want to start hanging, use about 5 pounds as your starting maximum. No more than that. You’ve probably already been doing about that much. Go from there.

I know beyond a doubt using a knuckle grip I am pulling more downward pressure than 5lbs…

Hmmm maybe try knotting a rope at one end and put some weight on it. On the not knotted end hold the rope as you would your penis and see how much weight you can pull up before it slips. Could be a better indicator as to how much force you use. I’m sure most men could do 15+lbs pretty easily.

I don’t think that it is more. Not for any extended period of time anyway before you lose your grip. A steady pull you can maintain for a few minutes or more is around five pounds. Sure you can put on the death grip and get more for a few seconds, maybe a minute, but not sustained after your hand starts to get tired and sweaty.

I use a talc powder so my grip does not slip… i dont oull so hard as to risk injuring my jewl, but i kerp i forceful downward pressure over 30 seconds… id gave to guess 15 or more lbs or more..
