Hard Erection Needed for Pumping Results?

Hard Erection Needed for Pumping Results?

I have been pumping for several months now and seeing some solid results. However, one thing I’ve noticed is that I have to go in with at least an 85% erection to feel any sort of ‘pump’. If I go in even 50% erect my penis will be a half-inch short of where it would otherwise be, even after 45 minutes of pumping at the same pressure level. This seems to go against the grain of much of what I’ve read about pumping, especially the idea that the pump can basically push your penis into an erect state through sustained pressure.

Just wondering if anybody else noticed this effect and also whether anybody makes an effort to go in at 95%+ erection levels to really maximize pumping results. I haven’t tried to do that myself but maybe will if others have seen positive effects.

I have always gone in flaccid and still had gains. Maybe I would have had greater gains if I pumped erect, but that wasn’t/isn’t an option for me.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

I absolutely go in pumping starting as hard as I can get.

Same as you, early on in pumping I noticed a fairly big difference in the stretch when starting erect vs not. I had a tube that had markings at one point and would pretty obviously fill the tube further if I was erect when starting, another side-effect Ive observed is being able to hit higher pressures with far less edema buildup for the same time frames.

Im at the point that if I cant get a solid erection before pumping I will just skip that day all together, as for me personally the difference between erect or soft pumping is so night and day. Not to say that pumping soft doesnt work, or anything like that as I know TONS of people do exactly that, but I think If you have the option, starting erect is the way to go.

Thanks, Moose. Glad to know I’m not the only one. I’m going to try and get 100% going forward and see how that works for me. It’s especially cool to hear that you have less edema with a stronger erection. Seems like more pump + less edema is getting the best of both worlds, and I hope that holds for me as well. Will definitely report on my results.
