I try to pull the foreskin back and grab just below the glans, but I still don’t have the feeling of how much pressure is too much and my head starts to gets red and swollen so I start to lighten the grip and it slips again.
Does anyone that has had the same problem have a tip? Or do I just try a tighter grip around the glans with no fear?

I was in a similar boat until recently. I found a good grip. I grip from like 0.25”-0.5” behind the glans. But not with the “OK” grip. I will tell you what I have been doing. Remember you have to be careful and listen to your own body because either this way might not work for you, or the description might not be perfect. Or I could be entirely wrong!
Here is what I do. It takes two hands.
Just to be clear, by “below”, I mean “closer to the base”. “Down” the shaft to me means from the head to the base. Regardless of which direction the penis is pointing at the time.
Hand #1:
-Thumb on coronal ridge, half of thumb tip on shaft, other hand on coronal ridge.
-Middle two fingers across from thumb, about 0.5” below the frenulum.
-Squeeze there and pull.
Hand #2:
-Take some kind of pinch grip just below the sides of the glans.
One thing you can check is, before you apply hand #2, use hand #2 to check the skin on the shaft. There should be a lot of slack in the skin. Then you know all the stretch is on the penis.
At first, I could not really feel the stretch. But gradually I started to be comfortable applying more pressure. And now I really feel it. Now I know I was only stretching skin before.
I also use Hand #1 only (Hand #2 holds the ruler) to get my BPFSL measurement. A good way to verify your stretch is try to take your BPFSL with your old grip (where you are having more skin in your grip) and see how far the tip gets. Then take your BPFSL with the grip I described (Hand #1 only). For me, this new grip gives me a better measurement, meaning it must be stretching the penis closer to its potential.
I do use a little chalk on my fingertips to aid the grip.
I hope this helps, I recently found this through trial and error, and I feel pretty good about it. Also my BPFSL has shown a clear increase.
