Has anyone experienced strange sensations?

I haven’t done any penile enlargement exercises in years and sometimes I notice that when I am masturbating I feel intermittent sting like sensations. These sensations occur at random intervals of time in the process of masturbation and they last for something like a millisecond. It’s like a shooting pain but I hesitate to call it pain since it doesn’t feel like the pain I felt at various other non penile parts of the body. It does not disturb my quality of erection or the pleasure I get from masturbation but I am confused by these sensations.

I would love to have some kind of explanation for this and to hear from anyone who has experienced something similar or vaguely similar. Thank you in advance.
