Heating too often?

From what I’ve read on both this site and pegym, it seems like heating frequently will help with injury prevention and gains. Right now, I’m between jobs, so I have a lot of free time at home, and I’m heating about 50-60 minutes a day (warmup/warmdown before workouts, additional warming while watching tv and etc.) via a rice sock wrapped around my unit. I’m wondering if this would actually be detrimental to my gains, and if a veteran could provide some insight, that would be very helpful.

For reference, I am doing the JP 90 beginner’s routine on a 5-on/2-off schedule.


Start (6/6/2019): 6" BPEL, 4" MEG, 4.5" BEG

Goal: 7" BPEL, 5" MEG
