So whats with the murph nick? Sounds Eiresh.

Nothing to do with Ireland. I have a mate with the same name as me, and when we were younger, I just decided i wanted to be called something else. Murph was the first name to come out of my mouth, and it stuck.

Was it originally a mispronunciation of morph? (You didn’t mention how young you were).

I used to like the gallery on that program what was it called? Take Hart? Hart Attack? Maybe you’re too young (or old) to remember should I flip back to the start of the thread to find your age? Is all of life a question?

No, It was murph. And being 27, I do remember that programme. Didn’t morph have a friend called chaz or something? a little white plasticine dude I think. I know the guys name was tony hart, but I can’t remember the name of it either.
