Whenever I try holding about one inch behind the glans I can’t get a grip. I pull back the skin but I can only hold my grip for a couple seconds. Whenever I stretch holding right behind the glans I start to get pain after a little while.

I’ve only recently started doing the stretches with the grip you are talking about and it was not comfortable for me either. At first I could only hold the tension for 15-20 secs but after a week or so I got used to it and can hold it for at least a minute for each stretch now and am still getting better. That’s about a month. Keep at it.

Leave the skin over the glans and eliminate the problem.

Grip behind the glans with the foreskin pulled backto avoid stretching the skin too much. It can hurt, more for some than others, but david jones has it right - it will get easier with time. A very good warmup also helps a lot in my experience.

The only way I can get a grip is if I trap some blood between my gripping fingers and the head. Otherwise my dick just slips out of the grip.

Make sure you have a good warm up! Also wash your penis and swipe it with a towel so its dry. Then you will have a super nice grip! Its what I do.

You could maybe use some material like swimming hats are made out of. If you look at hanging instructions involving that kind of device, it says that the more you wash the latex, the stronger it’s grip. Maybe you could apply this material to give you a stronger grip?

Do you grip with just your fingers? You dont really have to pull back the skin if you dont want to. Im assuming you are uncut like me. Gripping it just behind the glans can be painful sometimes because of the pressure buildup in the glan. Try doing this… With your left hand pull out your dick, Then grip the entire length of the penis with your entire palm i.e use all your fingers like how you grip your steering wheel of a car. One you hold it firmly, you could tug your dick and hold for sometime. Alternate hands when tired. Hope this helps

I just tried that technique but when I start to pull the skin just goes over the glans and it just feels like I’m just stretching the skin and not the tissue inside my penis.

Well your skin is obviously more stretchable than your tissue is. Make sure your index finger is just below the glan while you stretch. Dont reatract the foreskin though. The base of the glan should stop your fingers from sliding forward. While using your palm and all fingers you could even use a tighter grip.
