How much oil or lube for jelq?

I was wondering how much oil or lube everyone uses for jelqing. Spoonful or more?

I understand this depends on the size and routine. I just wanted to get an estimate. I think personally I am using too much.

I use silicone lube in a pump tube. I start with about 2 pumps, then add a few more pumps as needed along the way.

Yes, too much lube is not good. You hand just keeps going, and doesn’t gain much traction on your unit.
