I found the best moisturizer for shiny healthy looking glans

Hey everyone! I have previously made threads here on TP about how my glans has got a more “rough” appearance to my disliking. I am not sure if this has to do with PE or becoming sexually active (i started both at around the same time) or just both of the above combined with aging from a teen to a young man. I have not done any PE for more than a year so i actually doubt that it is from PE.

I even went to the doctor who said it looked normal in person. I insisted and showed him a close up picture of my semi erect penis (the state where the grooves are most visible) and he said it looks alright but i could try anti fungal cream for a few weeks. I tried for one week and it did feel good but did not make any difference afterwards.
However, this is no longer a problem for me since i realized that most penises looks like this with a few grooves in the glans and i don’t feel any loss in sensitivity - and when i am fully erect it is not even visible since the glans fills out so much! It have become better with time too.

I have tried pretty much every single lube/moisturizer you could think of like coconut oil, vitamin e oil, baby oil but i have for the last few months found one which makes such an incredible difference it’s crazy.

It’s so long lasting so you can put it on your glans before bed and when waking up it’s still all moist smooth. You can even have it before seeing someone since it will only make your unit seem lubricated and does not give off any smell. Just wanted to share since finding this made a big difference for me! Kind of hard to say, i guess you could say that. When i am fully erect its pretty much smooth but in between soft and erect it has a more rough appearance to it with small lines or grooves or cracks.

I’m circed, so anything I put on there just rubs off and dries pretty quick, aquaphor included.

I’ve thought about maybe getting some kind of synthetic condom that can handle lipid based solutions and then wearing it filled with lotion all night.

I’d love to know what all is in the natural secretions of the foreskin, to see if I could find anything that sort of mimics it.

Those aren’t “grooves” or strange at all. All the skin that is drawn taut over an erection is going to be slack and wrinkly when you’re flaccid. Nothing wrong with trying to keep your penis soft and supple. But there is nothing wrong with, or weird looking about it now.

The main ingredient in Eucerin Aquaphor is petroleum jelly, but the second is mineral oil.

From what I’ve read in skin care forums, the best stuff to use on skin is mineral oil. I’ve even seen kitchen grade mineral oil for knife sharpening suggested for skin care.

OK. I take it back. I tried aquaphor for 2 days. I slathered it on like crazy and reapplied every few hours. The trick is keeping it reapplied so it’s always coated.
Glans is looking and feeling much nicer.

Only problem is it soaks into my underwear in the front and make it look like I pissed myself.
I might try applying and then wrapping with Saran Wrap and a rubber band next time.

I have the same thing and I’m uncircumcised.

It used to be completely smooth when I first pulled it down as a teen and slowly dried out.

I’m not sure if this is due to cleaning methods. I used to use soap and now I use and bath soap/lotion from the pump.

I clean everyday and have no natural secretions anymore.

Anyone have any advice on glans hygiene?

Should I just leave it covered for a week and not clean regularly? Just water or anything recommended better than soap products?

I’ve found that by far the best soap/moisturizer for my penis is Dove sensitive skin body wash “with nutrium moisture” whatever that means.

It is fragrance free, and has the feel of a lotion, but is actually a body wash. I find that if I wash my junk with it in the shower, I don’t need any moisturizer after and my glans stays supple and not dry all day
(I’m uncircumcized)

Another benefit is that this body wash doubles as great wet jelqing lube for PE in the shower, as long as you keep the water from washing it off.

There are a bunch of different dove body washes with nutrium moisture with scents, male and female, and I like them for the rest of my body, but the “sensitive skin” specifically is best on the penis.

Maybe it’s just a natural change of the penis. Anything that worked for you?

But sometimes i see older guys in porn with those shiny completely smooth heads making me feel like ”thats how mine should look!”
