If Your Goal Is Girth Is It Still Better To Increase Length First?

I’m thinking because of the simple fact that if you increase the length there’s is more area for girth grow. My main focus is girth but will it be advantageous to do a lengthing route before girth route?

The age old question.

I’m one of those old length first guys (from theory and gut, not practice), but there are many that have good arguments for otherwise. Example, some will recommend bouncing between both longitudinal and latitudinal stresses for strategic periods of time. The idea here being that overall expansion must be achieved in both directions to optimize growth potential. I hope they are right because this is my natural PE tendency, not for reasons of logic, but rather just emotional as I love experimenting with all forms of PE and I get bored.

At the end of the day, I believe the best PE routine is the one that keeps us practicing the most consistently and safely. For each of us that story is a bit different.

I say condition with the old classic, the jelq, then maybe move on to an extender (not right for everybody).

What have you done so far with PE?

If you are 7-1/2”x4” it makes a ton of sense to focus on the girth part of a routine… but since you are most likely in the average range, like most of us are/were then the standard Newbie routine is most likely the better place to start and see how the unit reacts.

I say just make a start. See what happens and if you like it. Not everyone gains the same. Some have a tendency to gain girth easier than length, and vice-versa. So just give it a go and see where you’re at after a few months.

Also my opinion is that if you want length too, you shouldn’t do heavy girth workouts. Start with a routine that targets both at the same time and see the results.

My speculation (maybe i am wrong) is that if you have a shorter length is more easy to gain girth. Thats because the tunica is more easily stretched circumferentiallly with a shorter length. If you have for example 8 inches in length, there is more tunica surface to be stretched circumferentiallly than with 6 inches.

Yea it’s seemed to me that the more girth you have, the easier it is to gain girth, and the more length you have, the easier it is to gain length.
