I have done jelqing before, but I was never consistent when doing it. So I have never had any gains although I have noticed a difference in erection hardness after doing jelqing for a couple of days. The first step of the newbie routine is: 5 minutes of hot wrap. So what exactly is a hot wrap? Can you guys paste links to images of it? Can you guys recommend which one to buy? Is there a substitute for a hot wrap?

Also, how long after I start with the newbie routine should I expect to see results?

I know I’m in the PE Basics, but how long after trying the newbie routine is it safe for me to go and try hanging?

Hot wrap is anything that is hot that you can use to wrap. Some people use a hot towel, or sweat by wet heat, some microwave a sock full of rice, I personally use a heat lamp.

In my opinion, don’t bother with devices until you have an intimate understanding of manuals. As in, you know how jelqing a certain way affects your EQ and soreness, how you benefit from different kinds of stretches, etc. As in, trough experience. Get to know your dick before you start hanging weights off of it or strangling it with plastic.

A hot wrap is anything that is hot the you can wrap around your penis to warm it all the way through.

Next time you shower, set the water a little warmer than you would normally and focus the water on your penis for a few minutes. You will notice that your penis gets warm all the way through.

Any kind of wrap that can give your penis that kind of warmth is what you should use as a hot wrap or warm up.

I would do the newbie routine for at least 3 months. Most likely you can do it for a lot longer just by adding time and reps.

In my opinion I would do the newbie routine until you feel very comfortable with what your penis can handle. Once you figure out what your penis needs than keep going until the gains stop.

After that I would consider other methods of PE.
