InfraRed Lamp with a slight burnt smell?

My infrared lamp arrived today and i just used it. It is a 150w lamp from philips, and i bought the support as well. However, in the middle of the training i felt a slight burnt smell, not much, is that normal? Also the lamp and around it got really hot.

I didn’t used the lamp very long because i was worried it would explode or somethin, i don’t know lol.

And one more question, at what angle should we use the lamp? Pointing it to the top, left, right? If i point it to the right should i be changing positions to keep the other side warmed as well?

Do you mean a smell from the lamp or your skin? Mine is similar to yours but no smell but I have stopped using anything on my penis regarding soaps and things long before using the lamp because I was gettting smells from my skin, possibly reactions to the chemicals in soaps.

Just from the lamp, my skin is fine.

About soaps, never had problems with em.

I have the same lamp and it does get very hot, when it was new it used to smell a bit of burning but that dissapeared over time.

Think it’s just the plastic heating up.

So it’s all good right?
