Intro and Beginner Questions.

It was just a few weeks ago that I stumbled onto a web page that mentioned jelqing and thought to myself, ‘there is no way this works. There’s no way possible that something so simple can make my penis longer/thicker.” But then I stumbled onto Thunder’s Place and it seems that quite a few people have benefited from PE. I’m amazed that there is so much information here. Could all of this really be true? I’m a skeptic by nature but there seems to be a lot of affirmation here.
I’ve never been content with the size of my penis. It probably shouldn’t bother me as much as it does, but hey it’s been my best friend for a long as I can remember and quite frankly the first thing people look at when I’m naked in the showers at the gym the bedroom. Though no one has complained or pointed and laughed I’d feel a lot better if my penis were larger.
I’m eager to get started with the newbie routing and already begun experimenting with jelqing. First let me say that dry jelqing is the most painful thing that I have ever subjected my penis to. After 10 jelqs it felt like I was going to pull the skin right off of my penis. Is there any greater benefit from doing dry jelqs rather than wet jelqs? Also with wet jelqs, I understand that while doing the movement pressure is extended down the shaft to the head for the purpose of engorgement. Should I also be pulling (forcefully stretching) the penis away from the body while jelqing? I’ve begun doing this but I’m not sure if this is supposed to be part of the exercise? I don’t recall reading any specific instruction on this in the newbie routine posts.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
