Is shrinkage from ED permanent?

Is shrinkage from ED permanent?

I have had pretty bad ED for the past 6 years or so, only able to achieve a 30-50% full erection. I have lost about 0.75” in erect length, and am wondering if this loss is permanent. I have read around, and there aren’t really any clear answers as to what specifically is causing the shrinkage.

Is tissue actually dying, are ligs getting tighter, is scar tissue building resulting in less expansion? How much of this is reversible? I have read about DMSO+Iodine, shockwave therapy, heat or infrared light therapy, are any of these worthwhile? I want to regain my old size before I jump into actual PE exercises.

It is not necessary all lost depending on the health status, or if the ED is caused by certain systemic health issues.
How old are you and do you recognize yourself in the above description?.

START 18/13.15 cm Jul 24th 18 (7.09/5.18") NOW 22.5/15.2 cm Fer 12th 20 (8.86/5.98") GOAL 8.5"/ 6"

When connective tissue is stretched within therapeutic temperatures ranging 102 to 110 F (38.9- 43.3 C), the amount of structural weakening produced by a given amount of tissue elongation varies inversely with the temperature. This is apparently related to the progressive increase in the viscous flow properties of the collagenous tissue when it is heated. (Warren et al (1971,1976)

I am 28, and my ED is not caused by systemic health issues.

Then why not start exercising? And not just your dick; all of you would really help.

I am, I just want to know if what I’ve lost is temporary or permanent.

It is temporary, at your age, having no serious health issues it should recover back and beyond.

Okay, thank you for the answer. Any idea what explains the temporary shrinkage though? Ligs tightening, scar tissue, etc?

Due to inactivity or loss of nocturnal erections, and never fully engorged erections we may experience loss of smooth muscle in the cavernous tissue. Some diseases like diabetes for instance can cause it as well, that’s why I asked.

PE exercises in conjunction with a healthy life, improved aerobic capacity aided with ED medication should bring it back and beyond.

You state that you only get 30%-50% erection so your length loss may be from poor EQ. Have you tried Viagra or cialis or similar and if so has it given an improved EQ?

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

I have tried both but it doesn’t help much.

Have you been examined by a doctor?

I have and the standard cialis/viagra haven’t worked that well. I am seeing a new doc and recently had more bloodwork done. I may be moving on to TRT and/or trimix injections as the next step.

Temporary. I had lost about 1-1/2” of length, and got it back after a few months of PE, mostly pumping and extending. Plain old jelquing would probably have worked as well.

Awesome, great to know, thank you.
