How much pressure is too much pressure? After reading around the last few days, I’ve become deathly afraid of making my tunica to tough and experiencing no more gains.

Coming back from a year long layoff.

I’ve wondered the exact same thing. I always thought enough to feel the blood rush to my glans but for me that meant a fairly tight grip as I could feel the ‘core’(don’t know the proper terminology) of my shaft.

How the fuck are you supposed to know if you’ve toughened it anyway? Don’t mean to hijack your thread btw!;)

I'm going to up the intensity and hit PE hard!

I think the right question is “how much pressure is too much for me?” If you’ve spent enough time reading around the forums in active and old threads, you’ll see examples of PE success from modest routines as well as from scary intense routines. No matter how well reasoned the argument for “less is more” sounds, there definitely are plenty of gainers who discarded that approach. Why does it work that way? Who the hell knows. It always boils down to each of us having to run our own personal experiment to find where our gaining zone exists, if in fact there is one.

So, if the notion of tunica toughening is real, then you’ll know you’ve done it when your gains just stop. Unless, of course, other factors play into cessation of gains as well. We just don’t have any body of research looking at the phenomenon of penis enlargement, so we are left to guess.

Then what do you do about it? You can take a deconditioning break, hopefully causing some atrophy in the tunica collagen. Or, you can try to ramp up your routine to find out if you are someone who will respond well to higher level workouts. No one can tell you which way to go. You have to read about others’ experiences and make a judgement call—or just flip a fucking coin.

The more I read the more I tend to agree with the above post by calfaddict. Just flip a fucking coin! I haven’t gained much since my initial dimensional gains in March! Doesn’t mean I’m giving up. My dick is heavier and I’m not about to start weighing it. And in my minds eye he is the man and he looks bigger than those pre-PE days. I admit that I was jelqing with as much pressure as I could give it. I too thought that was going to work better. Alas I have cut back on the pressure and am staying there for at least another month before I change my jelqing anymore. I did 300 wet jelqs tonight and my dick feels awesome. Maybe less was better for me. We’ll see.

I know you’re looking for girth cardinal2. I’m hoping you acheive your goal! There are many things to try here and I think that is why we get antsy with our routines not producing up to our expectations. Good luck! :) :thumbs:

I try and Jelq more with the wrist. Lock in the arm so to make sure I’m not going to accidentally pull too hard

I can pull as hard as I want on my unit and it seems to take it ok. I don’t think that much force has given me any growth so it’s back to the light jelqing I started with. (I’ve never measured my glans as I wasn’t looking for gains there. It does seem a little larger. No way to tell unless I look back at pictures and guess.)
