Jelqing for Beginners - Am I doing it Wrong or Too Much

Jelqing for Beginners - Am I doing it Wrong or Too Much

Hello fellow PEers!

New guy here, and let me say it’s quite a revelation to stumble across this whole PE thing. What I mean is, with all the bullshit supplements out there and devices, who knew that just simple exercises could be the thing to enhance penis length and girth? I’ve been using an extender for the past 5 months or so, and I didnt see any results at all. I feel like I wasted money on that thing (luckily it was around $40), but to now know I can use “workouts” like at the gym is very empowering and motivating.

Now with that said, I’m not sure if I am follow correct protocol for jelqing. First off, does using vaseline count as doing “wet jelqing”?

I started last week. For the first few days I started at 100 jelqs a day. Now, I am moving up to 250 a day which takes about 15 minutes. Is 250 too much for a newbie?

If that seems like a lot for a beginner, I have to say I have not been seeing any discoloration or major pain. In fact, I can still get 90% erections after each session. I do feel something for sure at the head, but no major pain. Am I doing it wrong? I’m basically just copying this video

I would like to eventually work my way up to dry jelqing because I was very impressed with pahctna38’s results.

Anyway, thats all the questions I have for now. Thanks all!

Welcome here! :)

As for Vaseline, I think that is considered as wet jelqing. I usually used baby oil for wet jelqing. It is good enough for me.

I think 100 jelqs were a bit too much for newbie. Start with warm up, 5 min stretching and 50 jelq. That should be enough for the first week. Gradually increased the amount of stretching and jelqing weekly until around 10 mins of stretching and 30 mins of jelqing(400-600 jelq I guess?). :)

That video is alright. The only difference with my jelqing is that I don’t go past my head. I stop just before the head and start from the base to head again.

Hope it helps.

Ok cool, thanks for the reply! So, the bottom line it doesnt matter if I feel pain or not after each session, I should just start off with a light amount and then gradually increase? When I jelq, I use light to moderate squeezing/clamping, which I think should be sufficient.

I also wanted to ask what do these appreviations stand for in a lot of people’s sigs?

BPEL: bone pressed erect length
NBPEL: non bone pressed
BPFSL: bone pressed flaccid stretch length
EG: erect girth

(You can hover over abbreviations to see what they mean.)

Also when you measure keep it 90 degrees perpendicular to your body, standing up, over the top of the shaft. Bone pressed is when you push the ruler through your fat pad as far as it will go. When you measure, sometimes you try and thrust your hips to get as much length as you can. It’s not really correct.

I wish someone would have told me that when I first started.

I have a question too. What is the proper way to jelq if you have foreskin? I’m not sure because until recently I found out I was doing everything wrong.

Thanks Prof, I really appreciate it.

Oh, and I’ve been using this ebook as a reference for exercises, etc. It talks about the exercises and how to do them on page 18. Anyone think it’s worth keeping or just stick to info on the forums?

So based on krsnik105’s response it definitely seems like I am overdoing it.

My question is, at one point does one ‘pick up the pace?” I’m 21 and currently 5” erect and 3.5” soft. My goal is to reach at least 7” erect and 5 inches soft. Now based on Pahctna38’s experience, this is possible through dry jelqing but my understanding is this is for ‘advanced’ PEers only. So again, when does one know when to proceed and increase the number of jelqs, etc?

Pay attention to your physiological indicators rocketeer!

If you have no negative effects from your PE efforts, and growth has stalled, then maybe switching things around is something to consider.

Also, I haven’t looked at the book, but there is so much information on the forum, that you may well never have to go elsewhere. Not that outside information seeking is a bad thing… if you find something interesting, let us all know! :)
