Jelqing results uncircumcised vs circumcised
I noticed Thunder et al have done a great job of making things as objective as possible when reporting data from members. I try to maintain as much of a data driven approach as possible, particularly as there does not seem to be much peer reviewed data on jelqing on pubmed. Some questions I had:
-Is there any info on whether jelqing is more effective for uncircumcised vs circumcised men? I have been thinking about getting circumcised because here in America women seem to prefer it. I know there is some loss of sensitivity, but it really seems like there is a general cultural preference. Jelqing uncircumcised is very ‘frictionless’ for me. I think this is good in so far as preventing injury, but intuitively I would assume that there is less ‘scheduled trauma’ with its resultant microtear formation.
-With regards to dry vs wet jelqing, is there any data from here about which is more effective? How about which has more injury? (I would assume dry is more effective but also has a higher injury rate. When I wet jelq, things get so slippery that I feel like I’m not making any scar tissue whatsoever).
-Has there been any grouping of data as far as the type of lubricant used. I know coconut oil and aloe might help prevent injury, but also would limit inflammation which I think must be necessary on some level. CBD oil is anti-angiogenic, so I would guess this would be a poor choice. But this is all inductive reasoning. Is there any objective info out there?
-Do younger people have better gains than older (a la working out) or do scar tissue/microtears form more easily as you get older? Has the data on the site been stratified by age? How about by frequency of jelqing session?
Sorry if these questions have been answered already — I tried the search function but came up with tangential answers at best.
