I was able to attach the extender and after about 30 minutes it was getting to be a little painful. I let a little air into the chamber to alleviate the pressure and my glans came out slightly (or maybe it was a bit of the shaft as well) and it felt a little better but I still could not keep it on for much longer.
When I pulled out, the ridge on my glans (I’m circumcised) was very large and red and looked a bit inflamed. My penis looked like a bobble head! I’ve had it off for about an hour now and it still is a bit tender and hurts a little still. I’m worried if this continues I am going to damage the glans?
What is the best way to get a correct fit so that I don’t have the pain associated with it. Any guidance would be appreciated!
Tips:
1) Wrap glans with micropore tape or similar glans friendly tapes to avoid blistering.
2) Squeeze the pump so that you have a little room to blow into the diaphragm before drawing the glans in. Make it bulge out of the sluice. This removes air that can be trapped between the sluice and diaphragm - which can cause blisters.
3) After the first pump, I personally squeeze the pump ball about 1/3 of the way and do a second pump do mount the glans fully. Sounds like you might need to do something similar. Experiment, but do so carefully and in a secure place where you can take the device off if something feels wrong.
Try to pull slightly on the chamber after you have mounted the chamber. Does it feel secure, and is the glans fully in? Or does it appears to slip? If it does, you need to experiment further until it stays in place.
4) It sounds like the sluice you are using might be too tight. I would continue to experiment with other sizes (yellow), and practise the mounting. Try to use as little vacuum as needed, but I too need a little more than one pump.
Some prefer the hose system for this reason. I personally could never get the hang of that and am now used to the pump ball system. You might have more luck than me with the hose system.
If the sluice is too small it will start to hurt below the glans easier than if the sluice is the right size (my experience).
