Lig stretch vs. tunica stretch

Sorry if this question has been answered elsewhere, but anyway, could it be counterproductive to be doing both lig stretches and tunica stretches at the same time? Or is it better to concentrate on one until all possible gains have been made and then move on to the other? Being a newbie, I am guessing that lig stretches are the ones to focus on first of all, am I right?

From what I understand almost any PE exercise you do you will be hitting the tunica in some way. I believe that you should stretch first and after those gains plateau you should concentrate on the tunica.

I think they both are stretching no matter what you do… there are just better ways to stretch/focus on each of them.

Just stretch. Don’t worry too much about which you are hitting. In almost every stretch you will hit both to some degree. The most important thing is to stretch. It doesn’t matter if you hit one, the other, or both.

Thanks for the advice. I guess any stretch can only be good. Just got a bit anxious after reading a thread about over-training having negative effects, which would be anyone’s worst nightmare.
