Lost sex drive

Hi all. This is my first post. I started PE a month ago, and yes I like so many others here got sucked into getting PE pills. Vig-rx in my case anyway I thought that the PE and the pills would increase my sex drive but it has done just the opposite.I was sore just starting out but that went away and my sex drive with it. Any one else here have this happen?

But I have a question for you, before your experience with the pills, was your sex drive fairly normal? If it was, I might suggest a blood test for T levels to see if they have dropped. I’m sure one of the guys will chime in soon with an answer to your question.

Thanks for the reply.no I have not been checked for testosterone levels and I am 43 years old so that could be a factor. Plus I drink alot of beer. But it only has come about for this last month.

Are you doing the Newbie Routine? I found that doing the routine alone increased my sex drive. Moderate exercise (of your muscles and heart) worked well for me, too.

Stop the alcohol, it is a substance that is famous for causing libido problems. It also can interfere with the liver’s metabolism of sex hormones, causing a relative imbalance of androgens and estrogens - that can also cause libido problems as well as erectile dysfunction.

Yes I am doing the newbie routine. And yes I have stoped the alcohol about a week ago. I hope thats what it is.thanks for the replyes

Good one stubtoe. I have been drinking a case of beer every night for the past 6 years.time to take a break!

I myself like to partake in the spirits but it is useless calories, makes you gain weight, brings up your liver enzymes and draws down your libido. I also have the habit of drinking daily, mainly a couple of glasses of red wine during the week and beer on the weekends. I am trying to shake 20+ lbs so I have given it up during the week, except for any special occassions or poker nite (that’s tonite).

Have you read anything about andropause (i.e. male menopause)? Although if it is only happened over the past month it may be something else. Do you have a lot of stress in your life?

I don’t really agree with penis enlargement pills, I dont think they work - and I think they may be dangerous, although I have no knowledge on them, just a skeptic.

A case a night oldyeller? That is a damn lot of beer if you are talking a 24 count case. Might be time to quit that.

24 cans a beer a day!!! Wow, I dont think I drink that much of everything combined in a day!!! That’s nearly 2 gallons of beer a day. How are you still alive!

I would say that would negatively impact your sex drive.

I agree with the earlier response that the newbie routine should be enough to boost sex drive. That has certainly been my personal experience, morning wood, mid-night wood, wood all the time! My problem is my partner (mid-forties) has practically lost all interest in sex. Tragic really as I have made some great gains and want to put my 7.8 x 6 unit to regular use (within our otherwise stable) relationship. Maybe Sunshine kid can offer some hope/wisdom on this one?
