First of all, my hat goes off to Thunder and everyone at this excellent board. What a great wealth of information.

I have been lurking and PE-ing for about 4 weeks. My stats now are (I didn’t get an official pre-PE measurement) BPEL 6.5” and EG 4.5”. I would like to gain girth primarily, as well as length. I have been doing a light routine of jelqing (wrong for until just 2 days ago, I viewed the movies. Previously I had not been keeping one hand locked at the base), hand stretching and pumping (with a store bought cheap pump). I pump for as long as a shower lasts (maybe 10 minutes). I can tell from just the first few days that flaccid hang is the first thing to “improve”. Yesterday I bought the cable clamps and clamped once. I was impressed by the engorging effect clamping had (I experienced a similar engorged look when I locked one hand at the base during my latest jelqs). However, I do have a question/observation. When I pump and when I clamped, I start out fully erect, but then after a few minutes I loose that hard feeling. I am still engorged, but not hard. While in the pump I hold it away from my body (as is sucks against my pelvis) and do some kegels now and again, but I still do not remain rock hard for the duration. Is this normal? The same applies to when I clamped?

Welcome to Thunder’s Place Raurc. I’ve had similar experiences with both pumping and clamping. Maintaining a full erection is difficult without some kind of stimulation. I don’t think it’s necessary to be completely hard for either method, but find it easy enough to bring the erection back with some tube movement or manual strokes while clamped.

I am getting psyched to re-start actively PEing and have purchased home made pump materials. Clamping still scares the bajeeziz out of me. I will need to do more reading on the experiences of others that have clamped safely.

While I haven’t had any experience with pumping, that is normal with clamping. As westla suggested, just add a little manual stimulation.

If you’re new to PE, be careful with the clamping. There’s a definite learning curve. You’ll want to make sure you’re well conditioned before doing too much of it.

4 weeks out results

Well, at about the 4 week mark. I have gained an 1/8” in length!

I was able to do more strenuous jelqing and pumping earlier in my training. Lately I have only been able to get a couple of jelqs in after the shower and occasionally later in the evening (a couple being around 100). I use to pump while in the shower (as in pump it on and leave it on while showering, so for about 10 minutes a day total time), lately I haven’t pumped but maybe 3 times a week. I have, however begun to do manual stretching as often as I can. I have also dabbled in making a hanger, so far I have tried to make a Bib hanger (out of the flexible pvc) but was having trouble with the whole wrap/hang method that I have put that off for now (trouble in that the hanger would still pull off once weight was applied).

In short. I am really excited about my gain. I know I have measured correctly, as I had been measuring about once a week. I put a ruler in my drawer in the bathroom, in fact my wife found it the other day and asked what a ruler was doing in the bathroom! I know I was just under/at 6 1/2” on my original post, and I am now solidly past the 6 5/8 mark.

I haven’t taken a girth measurement as I don’t want to be let down. I don’t think I have gained any past my original 4 1/2”. Although, the dorsal view has changed. My pronounced left hand curve is less and I am straighter.

I plan to intensify the manual stretching, and work on more jelqing and clamping as often as I can. It goes without saying that flaccid hang in much improved and dare I say impressive (to me and my wife). I love it when I come out of the bathroom after a shower and quick jelq session how her gaze lingers as she tracks my movements across the room. She does know I am “up to something” as she caught me with some of the hanging surplus and I know she found the pump (it was in our box of goodies) the other day. But she never asked about the pump. She claims that I don’t need to change, but she did get her first internal orgasm the other day after she got some goodies out of the box. Now, I’m not attributing 1/8 of an inch to triggering an internal orgasms. But I’m thinking her added excitement that something is going on, and my increase confidence had alot to do with it!

6 week update!

Well, I have cast aside any thoughts of constructing a hanging device and clamping.

I have thus far gained 1/4” BPEL. I now measure 7” flaccid stretched length (mostly noting the measurement now, I had not measured that way before so I don’t know it that has gained). For a total of 6 3/4” BPEL, or a gain of 1/4” over starting stat.

Girth-wise, 4 3/8”. I have started using a tape measure for girth, instead of previous measurements of using a length of paper, marking it and measuring. So, I don’t think I have lost any, although there is a 1/8” difference in before and after measurements.

I have a starting photo which shows a good 6 1/2” shot. I seem to have the same trouble others have had with photographing my unit. By the time I get the ruler and camera ready, I have lost some length. Will post as I am able to find a host (I’ve seen one mentioned in the past).

Briefly, my routine. I have been mainly manual stretching, with a good 20-30 second hold, about 5 minutes a time, several times a day. Stretching, each time I use the restroom (if private). I frequently do a rotary stretch, like a clock hand. One stretch clockwise, the next counter clockwise. I have noticed that when I am doing this rotary stretch, when I am stretching my unit to the right side of my body, I feel a “clunk” on the left side. There is no corresponding “clunk” on the right side when I stretch to the left. I am not really concerned at this time, just think it ODD. Might this be some lig breakage I read in previous stretching posts?

Wow, it has certainly been awhile. I have really only taken up PE again in the last 8 weeks or so. As I have stated in other posts, I have primarily taken up an extensive heated pumping routine with some manual stretching. My stats are now 6 7/8” by 4 3/4”.

To sum it up, I have gained 1/8” in length and a 1/4” in girth in the last 8 weeks or so. To be honest, I have been doing manual stretching this whole time, but I think most of my gains have come in the last 8 weeks. I really think there is something to this heat thing.

My goal is to pack my current tube, which is 7 1/2” by 2 1/4”. I will most certainly be happy to be close to packing it in width. I have recently upped my routine from 10 minutes on with heat with a 10 minute break with heat for 4 or 5 reps. To 13 minutes on with heat and 13 minutes off with heat. I do stretch during the off/out of the tube. So my rest periods are the same length as my in tube periods but I stretch every few minutes to make sure I can apply as much heat to as much of my unit as I can during my out of tube rest time. It seems to be working for me.

You know, I almost want to cry. If I had been dedicated since then, I would easily be at my goal. Fortunately in a sense, my wife and I are trying for our second child now. So, I am thinking, that I will be able to gain some in the interm while she is with child for a nice suprise for her at the end of it. But yes, I think that if I had stayed true this whole time, I would easily be over 7 1/2” in lenght and shooting for my girth goal. We live and learn and at the time I just didn’t have the time or state of mind to work out. I was working 2 jobs for many of those years, I bearly had time to sleep and work, not to mention working out.
