Made Gains and Unfortunately going Overseas

Before I start, I am not what section this should be in??

First off I’d like to thank everyone on this site, especially Thunder.

I’ve been PEing consistently since the summer and have learned that consistency is very important. I started hanging in October and measured myself in the beginning of December. After 2 months of hanging (along with my regular routine) I have gone from 8” BPEL to 8 1/2” BPEL. Since I measured last time, I feel that I’ve gained a little more but I’m going to wait to measure. I am so happy that I have finally gained and this just motivates me to keep stick with it.

My problem is that I am going on vacation in January, for 2 weeks, and I really want to continue hanging but obviously won’t be able to. So I guess this vacation will be kind of a De-conditioning break. I was wondering what the veterans would recommend I do. Should I still continue my regular routine of stretching and jelqing?? Or should I take a complete break? Also since I am going to be taking the 2 weeks away from hanging, is that a sufficient amount of time for a De-conditioning break. If not how long until I start hanging again?

You will be taking all the equipment you need on vacation with you, your hands. Just do manual stretches and jelqing. After only three months of PE, you really don’t need a deconditioning break anyways.
