Making Extenders More Comfortable
I am looking for new methods on making extenders more comfortable for wearing for longer durations.
I am using Jes Extender Titanium with cohesive gauze around the glans. The gauze helps a lot but I still get quite sore around the glans where the silicone tube is pulling on it. I have to remove it for 15-20min after about 1-1½ hours. According to the manual it is possibly to safely wear it for up to 12 hours a day. I can’t get even close to that number when I have to keep removing it and re-attaching. So any advice in this regard is greatly appreciated.
I also want to offer a bit of a discovery I made some time ago. I originally commented it on a thread about Burning Balls. So the method I used is the fabric silk. I also elaborate a bit more on my discomforts using the device.
SILK:
I have found an absolutely incredible solution. The answer is silk. Genuine silk that is. Avoid any imitated fabrics or you will roast your privates.
First of all let me tell you about the properties of silk. It is incredible at transferring heat and moisture. Both are critical to making this comfortable. Silk is also super durable. It will not tear even with 50 uses. You can machine wash it but it needs cold wash with no enzyme washing liquid similar to what is used with wool. Over time it will wrinkle somewhat but this doesn’t compromise the comfort by much.
I ordered crepe silk because I know how excellent the feel when worn close to the skin. Unfortunately I got normal smooth silk. It is still great and due to the mistake with the order I got it for free. So gonna keep using it until I run out.
So what I do is that I cut out little pieces of like 20x20cm (8x8in). That way I fold it once and put it between me and the Extender, so that most of the friction is carried to between the two folds. Works similarly to wearing two socks on hikes to avoid blisters.
For me it takes away nearly all the discomforts in that region. I start getting the carpet burn feel after 1 hour. But feels like it’s more due to the tissue stretching. I do believe this is the window where it produces the greatest results if you can endure the pain a for a while. I’m no expert here. Just figured it to be similar to building muscle. The burn is when you know it is working.
I can only do about 1 1 1/2 hours before I need a bit of a break of like 15-20 min. I’m also using cohesive gauze around the glans. This is where I get the most pain. I get sore behind the glans and I’ve tried a few solutions. So far nothing beats cohesive gauze. Not ideal but not terrible on its own either. I find that I can tolerate more and more pain as time goes on.
I’m using the Jes Extender Titanium. There it an unoriginal part from Jes Extender Australia called Quad Support, but the customer support there is abysmal. They ignore my emails and chats. I guess they are not interested in sending to Denmark. I really want to try this part, as it allows you to use double strap/silicone tube.
Anyway, buy a bit of genuine silk fabric (preferably crepe). You will not regret it. Let me know how it works for you. It is absolute magic for me 👍

NB: The original thread about Burning Balls also contained another method using baby powder. That is probably also worth trying out.
