I’ve only been doing manual exercises (stretches and jelqs). I’ve been getting nice lig stretches and couldn’t tell whether the tunica was getting stretched as well.

I’ve searched and it seems that tunica stretches are always mentioned only when using an extender. So does one get a tunica stretch from a manual stretch?

All devices are making stretches you could do with your hands. They simply help to keep longer and less tiring your hands and forearms :) . According to the directions in which you pull, you will promote the tunic or the ligaments.

Graal, could you point exercises to strech the tunica manually?.

My understanding is that any stretch is going to pull on the tunica pretty much the same (assuming you are pulling from the end of your shaft). Stretching different directions will target specific areas of your ligaments more than others (stretching down towards the floor will stretch ligaments the most, while pulling up towards the ceiling will stretch the ligaments far less.), but the tunica should be getting the same amount of force regardless of the direction.

Any form of fulcrum stretching will isolate the Tunica more than simple stretches. An example of this would be V stretches, or as I do, hang with my unit resting over a cotton reel.

Thanks for the responses guys. When I do the v-stretch I feel like there’s some significant lig stretch. It seems to be slightly more than with regular stretches.

Is it possible that the stretch I’m getting isn’t on the ligs but actually a stronger tunica stretch?
