Most efficient way to correct curvature.

Most efficient way to correct curvature.

Hello all. I know I will probably receive a good few ‘use the search function’ responses, but I can assure you that I have done so and have become aware of different ways to correct a curve. What I want to know now is what is the simplest and most reliable of these techniques.

My penis is curved slightly to the left, with the bend being about 2/3 up the penis length. The curve is about 13 degrees at the bend, the penis as a whole only curves about 5 degrees, so not that much. I would like the bend to be reduced by at least 8 degrees over the course of a year and am essentially looking for the easiest way to do this. I am aware that some people believe a slight curve to be an asset, but personally I would just like to get rid of it.

So here are the methods I am aware of:

Penis traction therapy/extension devices: This seems to be the most effective method, offering more or less guaranteed reduced curvature in the space of 3 months, without a risk of injury or deformity. It is certainly an expensive method and this is a downside, but I am prepared to spend the money if necessary. What extenders would people recommend? (I am in the UK, so RestoreX is off the table. I could use PeniMaster though).

Jelqing: A lot of people say that standard jelqing, or at least jelqing in the opposite direction to the curve, should reduce the curvature, but others say it has no effect. I wouldn’t want to put all the time and effort into jelqing to find that it hasn’t worked.

Wearing tight underwear: I have heard that wearing tight underwear and positioning the penis to the right (or otherwise opposite to direction of the curve) will overtime correct the curvature, however this can take years and over that time detrimental effects of wearing tight underwear may occur.

Weights and pumps: This seems to be hardcore stuff that I would rather not delve into.

Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated. Perhaps more than one method should be used?. Also, let me know of any methods that I missed.

Hi Alex,

I know you said you were put off by pumps, but I will tell you what my experience is and hopefully maybe you will find at least a part of my answer to be beneficial anyway.

I started PE around the end of January 2019. I have been exclusively a pumper. I started with a very noticeable curve to the left also. Mine is about 1/4 of the way up and there is a scar there - not sure when or what happened but it’s been there ever since I can remember. I am not certain of the angle because I never thought of measuring it. I guess I never really considered that pumping could result in a straighter penis. I would guess it to be in the ballpark of 15 degrees give or take a few degrees.

I pump in stealth. After about 3-3.5 months of pumping, my wife made the unprompted comment “I am not sure how, but your dick is a lot straighter than it used to be.” After about 9 months of exclusive pumping, she made another spontaneous comment right after we had sex. “It’s weird. Ever since I have known you, your dick has been curved left. Somehow it’s gotten close to straight now?”.

I don’t want to push what I am doing on anyone, but I would say pumping doesn’t have to be as hardcore as it might sound.

Read the “pumping for ED” and “pumping 101” threads for great details on the specifics of safe pumping, but my advice generally though would be: Start slow. Build gradually. Keep the pressure low. Take enough rest days and decon breaks. Be consistent. Don’t stop.

This is what worked for me unexpectedly, but very happily, for both my wife and I. She didn’t like my curve but never told me that until it was almost gone. I didn’t like it either.

Start: 2/1/19 7.5" BPEL, 5.75" MSEG

Current: 7.875" BPEL, 6.0 MSEG

Goal: 8.75" BPEL, 8.00" NBPEL, 6.68" MSEG

Thanks for your suggestion, it certainly seems effective by your account and I’ll look into pumps further. Otherwise, the Quick Extender Pro’s curvature correction extension device seems to have corrected many user’s curvature in the space of 3-4 months. I’ll keep the thread updated with whatever I eventually decide on.

My suggestion is that you use an extender, and adjust a little more tension ( force) on the short side of your penis as long as it only curves to one side. How much more tension ? You will have to go by how your penis feel during each session and after, slippage and so on. It is doable. Good luck.

Thanks for the tip! That certainly seems logical.
