Need Help on Hard-Flaccid and Other Issues I've Had for 7 Months

Hey Guys,

I made a thread last year about a very bad experience I had at the doctor around June. Long story short, I went in for a HIV test and was given treatment for chlamydiae and gonorrhea even though I did not have symptoms for it. The treatment (which were 4 pills and a shot) had a very weird side effect where I felt like I was going to faint. Then I went home and noticed that I lost coloration in the head of my penis and was not able to get an erection while also having a very cold sensation in the head of my penis.

Some of those systems went away completely but others have stood till this day and I have no idea how to go about treating this issue and need help. Basically I have the following:

1. Penis is permanently elongated (not too much, but I’m noticeably longer in a flaccid state than I was before the incident). Hard penis is still the same size.
2. Erection is no longer as solid as it use to be - before, my penis would point straight up during erections.. Now it mostly points straight forward. There was a point (after the incident happened) where my erections were so hard that it hurt (with the head of my penis remaining flaccid), but the painful part is gone now.
3. Loss of sensation (especially in the head of the penis).
4. Penis stays firm/ hard even when flaccid after ejaculation (or simple erection) for a while, which makes me feel like I have systems of hard-flaccid.
5. Head of the penis stays relatively soft and mushy and nowhere near as firm as before (especially in some positions like laying on my back).. But when I stand up it’s perfectly fine.. However, I have a feeling this is rather mental because there have been times where if I really want sex, the head stays firm when I’m on my back. I can almost think it to make it work properly but not always. One urologist I visited also explained to me before that the head of the penis getting filled up is very dependent on hormones/ chemicals released from the brain so this makes sense.
6. When I try to flex my penis when it’s flaccid - it doesn’t move. Seems almost lifeless. This is the most frustrating because it’s a 24/7 noticeable issue along with the fact that it’s longer when flaccid.
7. Loss of libido (not wanting sex as much as I used to) but I know this is very much mental so I know I can get around this if I just resolve the above
8. Unable to push out urine like before.. Towards the end of my pee, it just kinda drips even when I try to flex to push pee out.

I’ve been to urologists 3 times last year and they couldn’t help me (because they “can not help people who are able to get an erection”). They said I might have had a vaso vascular response when they removed blood for the testing but also assured me that it could not possibly be venial leakage (my original thought) .

My theory is that something is either too tight or too loose.

I’m like 90% certain something is too tight and it’s not allowing blood flow to circulate properly. I believe that the vaso vascular response made some of my muscles down there spasm or permanently contract. I’ve read that some folks have resolved hard-flaccid with many of the similar symptoms I have through physical therapy but I have no clue how to go about that.

Can anyone please help me? This is having quite a toll on my life no matter how hard I try to ignore it. I know that part of the healing processes is to have a positive mental outlook on the situation, and I have, but I feel like I still need to be pointed in the right direction.

Sounds more like a combination of stress, nervous tension, fight or flight stuff etc than any physical cause to me.

But would something like nervous tension last this long? And would you have any idea of how to approach resolving it.

Also, yes, vaso vascular response is nearly directly related to fight or flight so I’m certain that is part of it.

Anyone have any ideas or ways to help?

I suppose the easiest way to test the theory (stress/fight or flight) would be to take a couple valium and see if it has any temporary effect on your hard flaccid.

Nervous tension could last that long if you are continually worried about it and focusing on it as you seem to be.

Sounds like a plan - thanks

But I would need to look into those side effects too

I guess I really don’t understand it then.

Because I can go like a week without thinking about it and don’t see any improvements. Maybe I would need to go for much longer without thinking about it.

I’ve read before that symptoms of what I have are definitely more physical and mental and can be resolved with physical therapy that focuses specifically on specific points in that area.
