Need help with a couple of unusual problems

I’ve been lurking for a few days now and have read a lot of really good stuff. What a great site! I started PE several years ago, kept at it for a couple of months, didn’t see much improvement and quit. I’ve tried the pills. I restarted PE 6 or 7 weeks ago, doing straight long stretches (30 secs each for 5+ minutes), jelqs for 10+, and kegels, and have seen improvement - roughly 1/4” in length and maybe 1/8” in girth both flacced and erect. When you’re starting from 5.75” erect, I guess 1/4” is a lot bigger a gain that it would be starting from a 6.5-incher. I keep telling myself that.

I have two problems I’m finding difficult. One is that I have a sort of retractile penis. The little guy seems shy. He keeps on ducking back in where it’s warm and dark. If I start truly flaccid (4.75”) and hang on to him, I can feel a definite tug as Little Richard tries to duck back indoors, and he doesn’t give up easily. One of my major goals is to simply be able to hang loose all the time. Actually my scrotum does the same, and I would like to develop a more natural hang. This is partly related to poor circulation, I’m sure. But I suspect a lot of it is reflexive self-consciousness left over from childhood, and I have no clue what to do about that.

The other problem is age and hormones. I just turned 61, and I’m getting so it’s sometimes hard to maintain even a 50%-60% erection through a 10-muinute set of jelqs. Funny, though - I still wake up hard as a rock every morning. In addition, libido is slowing down. I read in here of someone putting together a ring of zinc and copper spaced out with latex tubing and hanging it around the scrotum for most of the day as being effective. But finding the pure zinc required seems to be a very difficult problem — does anyone know of any sources, substitutes, or other ways to get that 1 volt of current he spoke of?

Anything anybody can say in the way of advice on techniques and ways to apply them would be most welcome.

I’d be VERY glad to make 7 x 5.75 erect, and 5 x 4.75 flaccid by next summer. I don’t think that’s unrealistic — do you?

Search for “grower” and you’ll find loads of information on this topic. This is very common. Virtually any form of PE will probably help with this. Some other keywords to search are “ADS” and “golf weights” (also “peweights” from our friend Monty). Pumping is supposed to be great for flaccid gains.

Anatomically, I believe a “retractile” penis, or “turtle dick,” as we like to call it, is caused by contractions of smooth muscle deep within the penis. As you have discovered, this muscle is not under voluntary control. PE can help the muscle to grow. It may also (and this is controversial—or at least I’m not confident about it) change the ratio of collagen to elastin in the smooth muscle, which may leave you with less spring-back.

Try stretching your scrotum daily in a hot shower. Lots of threads here on that subject, too.

Do your jelqing in the morning, if possible, right after you wake up. “Slivers” of Viagra or Levitra are also very popular in addressing this problem.

Also, read up on Kegel exercises, and do them often. Kegeling normally helps with erectile strength.

No. But you need to be smart. Read everything you can and avoid injury at all costs. Remember that “tomorrow’s another day.” Don’t try to do too much at once.

Hey, me too… Except I’m even smaller. I’ve often thought it might be mental like you say above, but I think that is doubtful.

I’ve tried testosterone supplementation and human gonadotropin, both via an internet Dr. Prescription… Both effective. However, stuff from the Health Store also had a good effect, esp: tribulus, muira puama(sp?), chrysin, horney goat weed.

Yes, getting a little frazzled or nervous from too much coffee seems to make the turtling much more likely. I’ve taken a friend’s adderal (amphetamine) to stay up late and work also… Talk about ridiculous turtling! However, I had the condition long before I drank any substantial amount of coffee.
