New To All This. Need Help.

I just recently bought myself an x4 extender and am confused on how to use it. I was wondering, do you need to have an erection when putting on the extender? I have a hard time keeping the extender on without it falling off. I try to put it on with an erection and then eventually when I lose my erection the strap ends up on my penis head and then just slides off completely .

I also had a question on how to set up the traction. I don’t know how to set it up and to be honest I don’t even know if I am stretching it enough for it to even do anything for me. So yeah, it would be nice if anyone can help. Also, I was actually wondering if extenders really do work or if I made a mistake buying one.
