I didn’t do the newbie routine. I jumped straight into hanging. Everyone recommends to start with newbie routine.

I think you should hang first as you will have a hard time getting length gains after getting girth gains, but not the other way around. Everyone says don’t start with hanging because it is a commitment of a large chunk of daily time to get your 16+hrs a week
