Agreed, and as had I also planned to but I couldn’t keep quiet with the information I had. People were diving in essentially in blind faith so I wanted to balance the scales a bit with some much-needed caution. I think i made 5 posts on there in total that I remember: one about the warning, two to Janus overall asking questions that all went unanswered and the other two to a person who got an injury which to me sounded like a very unhappy nerve and I gave some advice (I’m medically-oriented). I think he’s doing much better now though if he followed my advice I can’t say.

You’re welcome sprovencher, it’s what this forum is all about. Never be afraid to ask questions here.

I think people experiencing EQ problems are pressing too hard or going too long and irritating the nerve, I’m pretty sure. Some people may be more sensitive to it as well.

The method isn’t foolproof, and I wish Janus wouldn’t have made it seem so. We have always taught to stay away from that nerve in our exercises, and for good reason. That said, light pressure that doesn’t even compared to masturbation shouldn’t bother the nerve, I just think many people were overzealous thinking more pressure is better.

More pressure is not better, it does not help with the method at all. Try collapsing the veins on your hands with your finger. The pressure needed is so minimal it is kind of crazy that people think they need to put force on their dick with that method . The pumping movement across is where the (supposed) magic happens.

Yes. Most likely.

I have been doing the AM for slightly more than 5 weeks now. My experience so far has been completely positive.

However, after seeing the recent spate of EQ related concerns on the thread, I am skeptical about advocating the method to others - especially to newbies.
