So I stumbled across this forum a few months back and was very skeptical at first but having read a lot of information, particularly the success stories and progress reports, I’ve decided to embark on my own PE journey.

I’ve been doing some of the beginner stretches/jelq routines for around a month (no real concrete gains to date although my measuring is not great so need to reassess this) and came across a bit of information in the hanging section relating to length before girth.

For context my stats are below, and for the benefit of accuracy I’ll say these are starting measurements:
MEG : 4.5 inch
BPEL: 6.5 inch
NBPEL: 5.5 inch

As you can tell I’m a little on the small side and feel like I need the help to grow. My main goals would be girth if anything as I’m not really that bothered about length but I will pursue it. It does kind of annoy me that so many of the people here complain about smallness yet start way above average but I’m not here to judge. However, I do feel the admins should be on the look out for those people and offer some guidance as there is certainly abundant BDD on display here which isn’t healthy. Again, each to their own and wish those people all the best but I’d be lying if it wasn’t frustrating to see for those of us who actually need bigger pieces.

Anyways, minor rant over haha. As I was reading and learning more about the different methods I found the hanging forum and started to see people were experiencing very good gains via hanging. I continued reading and the length before girth theory peaked my interest, which I know is not scientifically proven, but as an engineer myself it is completely logical since more force needs to be exerted to move a larger mass. That in itself is enough for me but I may delve further into this and do an in depth analysis at some point in the future. I’m confident I could get a definitive answer for this but for now I’ll take it as probable theory.

With that in mind my plan now is to hang and stretch (heated) with the intention of reaching around 6.5-7inch NBPEL before doing a maintenance routine, then likely starting a V Jelq routine for girth and aiming for around 5.5inch MEG. I’ll probably finish this off with more maintenance and aim to cement those gains before taking a break from PE to minimise injury risk. I don’t see the point in carrying on afterwards and tempting fate as the margin for error is too great for such an important tool. Obviously everyone is different but I’m pretty sure based on even low averages I will be able to attain my length goals within a year and then focus on my primary goal which is girth. Hell, even 5inch MEG would be a godsend but right now it’s not great so I guess here it goes.

I do have some questions relating to hanging equipment and injuries though. Firstly, I’ve gathered that the bib original and starter hanger seems to be popular so I would like to get one of these but I think I’m way too late. I’d rather make it myself and save money but I also want the best possible device for safety, ease and comfort. Can someone recommend a similar version to make or how to create a bib hanger? I would like to start asap.

Regarding injuries, I’ve had thrombosis and foreskin issues before which I don’t necessarily think will affect my plan but I’d like to hear from people to find out.
1. How long it took them to recover before resuming a PE routine?

Welcome to the club!

I’m new to PE myself and also studied hanging and length before girth.

There are a few threads on homemade hangers here, just do a search.

I chose to make a chicken choker because it was the easiest to make and I had everything on hand without going shopping. It grips and pulls really good.

So far on the injury side, I’m having frenulum issues, being uncut maybe the problem not sure. Currently on a healing break. Gonna get this figured out!
