PE Newbie First Post

PE Newbie First Post

Whats up everyone! Been lurking for the last few weeks or so and finally decided to post.

I’m relatively new to PE (I’ve looked into it in the past but never really thought I had the time/dedication to do it so I kind of just put it off).

I’m also more overweight than I’ve been in my life (around 225lbs at 5’9) where about five years ago when I was still a collegiate athlete I was around 175. I do plan on losing back those 50lbs by eating right, getting after it in the gym, etc. I expect to see some fat pad loss + potential length gains there.

However, I’ve been doing the newbie routine in the shower for the last week and a half or so:

Warmup
5-10min manual stretching
3-400 jelqs
Warm down

5 days on, 2 days off.

I’ve also been trying to do about 500-1000 kegels/day.

While I haven’t necessarily “seen” any substantial gains, and haven’t expected to this early on obviously, I noticed things have been a bit “tighter” when my girlfriend and I have had sex since I started. She’s made a comment about it as well. It may be due to EQ improvement, who knows, but it’s definitely given me all the motivation necessary to continue PE.

While I plan on doing the newbie routine for a minimum of 6 more weeks, I do have a few questions.

1.) I was wondering if anyone has “scaled” their PE workouts without use of devices/pumps/etc.

2.) When people say you gain an inch for every 30-50lbs you lose, it’s that referring to BPEL due to loss of fat pad or a legitimate NBPEL gain?

I’ve never had any complaints from my current girlfriend or any previous companions, I’m more or less doing this for myself and trying to “maximize what I have” if that makes sense. I do appreciate reading all of your stories and threads and learning as much as possible as I go on this journey!

Welcome, luuuuuucino. I’ve never heard “you gain an inch for every 30-50lbs you lose,” because that sounds too ambitious. But you will gain something. And yes, it’s due to the reduction of the fat pad.

I figured as much, I thought it was a bit strange as I’ve heard it a few times; I think once here and once on Instagram, the most reliable source of information (ha).

I wasn’t really expecting length from fat loss but it’s been a priority for me for the last month or so regardless of PE, the loss of fat pad would just be a bonus :)

Thanks for the welcome!
