Hii I am new to this site, though not new to PE

I was doing PE on and off for a whole 5 months got some gains and rock hard erections. My girlfriend and I decided to have sex finally and when the time came I just couldn’t get it up or maintain my erection.

I started doing more kegels could it be the reason?

Maybe you were too nervous to get it up? Over thinking can get in the way of the first time.

It’s doubtful the kegels were involved, but kind of hard to tell when you don’t even tell us how many or for how long you do kegels.


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

I had this same problem when I started doing PE. I got so focused on my growing penis and I wanted to show off. I wanted my wife to be so excited about it. I even started mentally comparing myself to a porn star. My mind was everywhere but in the moment. Enter performance anxiety. Instead of focusing on her, I was focusing on my trophy dick.

For me, the secret was to mentally separate myself from PE. For instance, when you’re working out at the gym, do you think about that all day? Probably not. Yet, PE has a way of taking over our minds all day. You’ll see that there are some guys on here who literally do PE all day. It can consume your mind.

For me, I’ve mentally categorized PE as a part of my total body workout routine. It has its place, but when its over, I go on with life. Focus on your girlfriend. Touch her. Enjoy every curve. Smell her hair. Get lost in the moment. Quit thinking about your penis. If you have the mental ability to commit to a PE routine, then you have the mental ability to leave it when you’re finished.

Also, if you watch porn, back off. Porn has a way of desensitizing us to visual sexual stimulus. If you see naked ladies all the time, their effect is diminished.

This worked for me. Hope it helps.

I been engaging with kegels every once and a while and had raging rock hard erections that took a minute to go down. My kegel routine was doing 200 kegels and 50 reverse or so but two days before I met my girlfriend I did a really tense reverse kegel and tried edging till before point of no return. It wws suppose to be our first time mentally I am pretty sure I am very aroused near her, my erections even when jerking off are weak.

I suspect that your intense session of RK just stressed your penis. Take a few days off from PE and masturbation to let it recover.

I really hope so! I thought that you can’t really over do rk so maybe that was my mistake. So I will update if rest will take care of the issue thanks for all the advice!

I’m 99% sure you were a little nervous and insecure. That really kills erections. It’s very common especially with a new girl. Don’t give up and believe in yourself and you will do just fine.
