I had this same problem when I started doing PE. I got so focused on my growing penis and I wanted to show off. I wanted my wife to be so excited about it. I even started mentally comparing myself to a porn star. My mind was everywhere but in the moment. Enter performance anxiety. Instead of focusing on her, I was focusing on my trophy dick.
For me, the secret was to mentally separate myself from PE. For instance, when you’re working out at the gym, do you think about that all day? Probably not. Yet, PE has a way of taking over our minds all day. You’ll see that there are some guys on here who literally do PE all day. It can consume your mind.
For me, I’ve mentally categorized PE as a part of my total body workout routine. It has its place, but when its over, I go on with life. Focus on your girlfriend. Touch her. Enjoy every curve. Smell her hair. Get lost in the moment. Quit thinking about your penis. If you have the mental ability to commit to a PE routine, then you have the mental ability to leave it when you’re finished.
Also, if you watch porn, back off. Porn has a way of desensitizing us to visual sexual stimulus. If you see naked ladies all the time, their effect is diminished.
