Please help?

Hi all,

I enjoy reading these forums and I’ve decided to start hanging (or strecthing/jelqing) but I have some vital questions that I need answered by some faithful members even if the answers are obvious. Well here goes:

1. What method is the best? (Obviously some prefer one over the other but can some people post what their starting size was and what their size is now—in both methods).

2. I dont understand some of the language used in the board, like all the abbreviations such as BPEL, EL, EG, etc.)

3. How safe are these methods? Oviously most would not be doing it if it weren’t safe but are thei any known side effects? Is it possible for your penis to SHRINK when doing this?

4. My Penis size is 3 inches flacid and about 5.5 inches hard. Is it possible to gain 2 inches with either of these methods? My target size when erect is 7-7.5 inches, girth doesnt matter to me right now. (Anythings possible, but has anyone had this kind of gain)

Thats all the questions I can think of, thanks in advance to anyone who responds.
Have a great holiday, hope you get a bigger penis for christmas/channukah/kwanza/etc.

Sorry, One more question….after going to the newbie routines, i see there are an overwhelming amount of routines i can follow. What are some of the best ones? What were the first exercises you guys have used and how much have you gained within 1 or 2 months of starting that newbie exercise?

Thanks again…help me out, i need some motivation!!

Hi helpme7,

Strange name you picked. Welcome to the forum.

1. Best is the one that you gain from. For some people that’s manual methods for others its mechanical methods and then there are the various combinations between the two. Start with manual methods and read up on the other methods for your first two months. If you haven’t gained anything, switch methods at this point. If you have and you are gaining well, don’t switch methods!!

2. Check the pefaq linked at the bottom of the page, it has most of the acronyms (it’s a bit out of date).

3. They are as safe as you make them. In your first two months of PE your penis will adapt radically, it will gain more pronounced veins and a greater ability to withstand the pressure of PE. Also within that time you will gain an understanding of where exactly your limits are. You can rush on in and do the advanced stuff first, gain and injury and be recovering for some time before you can start again or you can ease into it and familiarise yourself building pressure and exertion as you go. Your choice :) Starting with the Newbie Routine is a great place.

4. Yes it’s possible. It may take you some time. Most people are probably capable of putting on an inch + in the first year (or less time) the second inch may be the problem and may require 4 times the amount of work.

Luvdadus started with the newbie routine and was still on it last time I heard. Follow it up for the first month at least before you consider changing your routine. The only reason to change a routine is if it’s not working.

Hi Helpme7,
Memento gave you the standard, but always reliable, reply to your questions. As a new member, I understand that you are looking to jump right into the “best” method. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work like that with PE.

You are going to have to experience the same growing pains (<—-not literally) the rest of did. You need to invest time into reading a lot of old posts, and a lot of trial and error type of expirementation.

Why don’t you tell us what you do know about PE? This will help us help you.

And what’s with the name? :)

Hmm, are you saying I trot out the same responses regardless?

Not in a derogatory way.
You gave the best answer there was to give. We get these same questions by new members all the time. These new guys are hot for PE and want their 2” gains yesterday. After a day or two, most are gone forever.

I thought, in my infinite wisdom, if we can establish a dialogue in the very beginning, the experience at Thunder’s can be less daunting.

I remember when I first found this forum. It was difficult to understand a lot of what was discussed. It was like jumping into the middle of conversation with Star Trek experts at a convention. The Newbie routine is a good place to start, but I’m guessing the new member also needs to be guided through the posts to get the full experience of Thunder’s Place.

Very good points all, especially the ear thing.

We have some stuff up to guide the new guys but that’s mostly read this, then read that, then download the video and there’s always lots and lots of room for improvement.

So how would you go about it?

1. The best method is to research, revise and constantly listen to your body. Mental preparation is by far the most useful tool in your arsenal. Accept this is going to be a long journey, sit back and enjoy the ride.

2. BPEL - Bone Pressed Erect Lengh. It’s the standard used to measure penis lengh on this board.

3. Yes, you can injure yourself. Learn where the major nerves are in the penis. Always clamp from the sides. Expect blood-spots, discolouration and NEVER believe the maxim, No pain, no gain. This is your dick we’re talking about, better a small dick than no dick at all.

4. Yes, you can get that sort of gain. However think in terms of a couple of years rather than a couple of months and you might be pleasantly surprised.

A few other words of advice:

Take pictures. You don’t have to post them, but if you have a camera, go out and take pictures NOW. You’ll really regret it if you don’t have starting pics!

Your dick isn’t the most important thing in your life. Don’t get too obsessed with it. At present you’re well within average size and should be able to satisfy most women.

August 2004: 5.0" EL NBP 4.9" EG August 2005 5.75 EL NBP 5.5" EG May 2006 6.25 EL NBP 6.25 EG

May 2008 6.25 EL BP 5.5 EG

IM entireley new to this, i dont know much and most of what you said is what i expected. I just wanted it in writing, somehow making it true. Thanks, I just want a bigger cock.

btw, im going to try this newbie method:

5 min hot wrap
5 min manual stretch (ten 30-second stretches)
10 min of jelq (two hundred 3-second strokes)
5 min hot wrap
50 kegels of five second holds each

Schedule: 2 days ON / 1 day OFF

My question is…what is hot wrap?..i know what everything else is.

Also..are their video’s online anywhere showing how to perform these exercises? Thanks

A hot wrap is were you take a washcloth, soak it in heated water and then wrpa it around your penis. You need to reapply the heated moist wrap several times over for about five minutes and maybe even massage.

An alternative is a rice sock which is exactly that, a sock filled up with raw rice and tied off anf then microwaved for 2 minutes (I think it’s two minutes anyway, I’ve never used one).

There’s also Stevie’s cool tie method in my favorites or a heating pad.

You really want moist heat.

The videos are in the tutorial forum.

helpme,
You’re displaying one of the most common traits of newbies: impatience. Don’t expect big gains overnight. To get the most out of your PE experience, you need to think long-term. This is more like a marathon than a sprint.

To answer your main question, “Yes, a 2-inch gain is possible.” That doesn’t mean that it’s common or easy or quick. Nor is it extremely rare either. And it’s impossible to estimate a time frame. You might get 2” in one year - or in 3 years. Not only do genetics come into play, but so does your determination, your level of effort and the way you monitor feedback - to develop your most efficient & effective approach. There’s a learning curve to this (which for some is quite steep) since there’s no “one-size-fits-all” magic routine.

Ear thing? It must be o’er my ‘ead.

Well, I know you guys have tried Mentoring. I have no idea how that has worked out, but it’s probably the best way to help to new guys. And it is probably the hardest to do because of the obvious commitment that the PE vet has to give.

I haven’t looked at the FAQ’s lately, but are we sure that they are still relevant and helpful?
Have they been updated regularly?

How about more incentive for learning?
We can require mandatory reading and then test them on the material. If they pass, they have more posting privileges. If they earn good grades, the new guys get access to the Dive and can caption all those funny pics. :)

Too extreme?

How about when the newbie joins up he accesses only a package of newbie related posts such as FAQ’s, routines, etc?

At the least, the newbie should receive a “Welcome to Thunder’s Place” packet in his private messages. This packet would contain the aforementioned information.
And the newbie MUST personally reply to Thunder acknowledging he has read and understands the material.
