Post session and off day gains theory
I’m just formulating an after exercise theory. I am hoping to get some input on this and possibly have some people help me with this experiment/theory.
I know that we do get a great pump from jelqing and measuring immediately after this could lead to some “wrong” measurements. I understand you should wait day after a session to measure so that your not measuring with the pump achieved from the jelq, but does this pump indicate potential gains. If you are able to reach a certain mark on the ruler after exercising, then wouldn’t this show that growth is occuring?
In contrast is it possible for us to use the after exercise size to determine if growth is not occuring also. I think that if we measure in the “after exercise state” and constantly hit the same mark on the ruler, then this might signify that growth is not occuring and it might be time to change a routine or take a decon break.
So what I am doing is now I am measuring after each time I jelq and seeing what mark I hit on the ruler. Then after a day off, I will measure again to see if there is any increase in my EL and EG.
If this theory has merit then I should be able to hit a different mark on the ruler after exercising and I should be growing. If I hit the same mark on the ruler after exercise and I’m not growing then I would need to change my routine and/or decon break. The only factor I’m not accounting for is if I hit the same mark on the ruler after exercising and then continue to grow. This facet of this theory just doesn’t seem logical, but I know there are exceptions to every rule.
