Prostate Cancer

Hey Guys, just recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and had a total prostatectomy a month ago. I have never done anything associated with PE before but my question is do you guys think a pump would benefit me just to increase the blood flow to my penis to help with ED. I know its still early and have been told to be patient that it takes time to heal. I am 48 and I don’t have a lot of patients and love having sex with my wife. I was hoping there would be someone that may have experienced this and may have some recommendations. Thanks

Your urologist is the best person to discuss this with.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

I don’t have personal experience with prostate removal, but one of the people that encouraged me to pump over a decade ago had a legitimate 10”+ penis and they attributed it to pumping after having their prostate removed. I can’t be sure that’s the only factor, I believe they were on hormone replacement therapy also and had taken DHT production inhibitors for some time due to prostate cancer.

In their case their doctor recommended penis pumping to address penile shrinkage as a result of prostate removal.

I am not sure if it helped them with ED specifically though, they didn’t mention whether or not they had ED at any time.

There are some complications with prostate removal that a penis pump wouldn’t fix, like nerves that were severed, crushed, or were killed off my hyperfusion after the blood supply was unclamped. Nerves can recover spontaneously though, I had some nerves accidently severed by a syringe during a surgery and it took about 2 months for me to recover sensation. Not all nerves transmit sensation, some control things like arterial dilation.

Starting: 7"bplx5.2" 2017 (shrunk from disuse)(originally 8"bplx4.5", gained to 9"bplx6")

Current: 9.0"bplx6.125" 2020

Goal: 11.5"bplx7" 2021.
