Pumping with a significant fat pad

I’m talking 1-1.5 inches of fat. Is there anything I should know?

That is probably pretty normal. As you pump up, fully seat the cylinder by pushing it in bone pressed, and that will ensure your full shaft is exposed to the effects of the vacuum.

Believe it or not my fat pad is over 2” thick.

I actually grab the fat and push it aside as much as I can as I sit the tube very hard against the bone and ligs. Even so, I estimate the tube stays maybe 1/2-1” away from the bone. Nevertheless, I get well pumped towards the base.

As Gprent says, the important point is that as much shaft as possible goes into the cylinder.
