Purple spot

I’ve noticed that I have a small purple dot on the head of penis, right in the center on the front. It can’t be more than 1-2 mm at best. I figure it’s just a small bruise. It doesn’t hurt in the least bit, so should I rest a few days, or just expect for it to go away on it’s own?

It is possible that you burst a small blood vessel. You say it doesn’t hurt, which is a good thing. I’m not sure, but I would error to the side of caution and give it a day or two. I’m sure one of the other vets will be along to give you their take on the situation.

Don’t PE until it’s gone. I have these spots several times and they all have gone after a night of sleep.

I never have gotten one on the head but on the shaft I have. It will go away in a short time, if you want to help it go away quicker, Ive have noticed doing a warm-up, I use a hot cup, helps the healing of spots and bruising.

As SSK said, it’s probably a broken blood vessel. These can take a long time to heal properly. I’d take a 1 week break from PE then re-evaluate the injury.

When I woke up this morning it was less noticeable than last night, so I went ahead and did my PE with a little more caution than usual. It now looks a little less noticeable than it did this morning. I think it was from using a too tight grip on the glans when I was stretching last night. I don’t think it is any cause for alarm. At first I thought it was just a real small newspaper ink stain from my fingers.

Just be careful if you plan to continue. If the spot returns or is bigger, please take a break. This has become a standard joke around here, but repeat after me, I have one penis, I will not hurt it. Say that 50 times a day until it is firmly stuck in your brain.

Don’t get over zealous in your quest for a larger unit, that causes injuries and can set you back. Its better to be careful at first until you understand, and so does your penis, what you can and cannot do.

Thanks for your concern!! I’ve did several additional warm wraps today and the spot is almost gone. I’m taking Saturday off and possibly Sunday too if warranted. But I’m definitely going to watch the area because I definitely don’t want to hurt myself.
